Rain Rain and more Cold Rain

I have a feeling its gonna be one of those days the Cowboys are going to just want to get into a nice warm shower and settle down for a nice hot bowl of warn New England clam chowder.
 
Only chance we have to win is running the ball better than New England and controlling their running game. They have 3 backs built for this and the scheme. They will look to dink and dunk us to death early and often with running back screens. PERFECT weather for this. If we aint ready..we will be embarrassed.

That's New England's game is Dink and dunk and that always has been with occasional throws down the field

YUP AND THAT WON'T CHANGE TODAY. We haven't really been good against the run all year. Belichick is licking his chops right now. If we are ready early..we have a chance, as slim as it may be..IF NOT...we go down 21 early and they never look back and it will be very ugly in Dallas this week. Heads could roll. Our season may be on the line today for real.

It's going to be a defining day for Jason Garrett because Jerry Jones assisted Robert Kraft a lot when he bought this franchise and he knows the success they've had and Jerry will be getting out the yardstick in measuring us against them by the end of today

Unless of course there is an injury or something weird that happens then he will be glad to use that as an excuse to keep Garrett
 
Our defense is going to get screened to death. Then we will get run on like no other because Tom Brady will hit those quick passes on PA. Our coach doesn't scheme for anything so we will just run into the brick wall that they will have in store for us. If we have any chance it will be Dak getting out in space and using his legs to open the game up. He's going to have to make some tough throws (which he's done this year) to start the game.

If we get of slow again, we are done.

they still have a chance after they lose today to make the playoffs but It wont matter because when they get to the playoffs they will be one and done

exactly. the rb screen game has killed us all year..our linebackers have been average at best...SAD. We haven't tackled well either. I would be shocked if we came out today in THAT environment and won. This game is make or break..it will determine if we make the playoffs or miss by 1 game. We win..we may go 10-6 and win the division. We lose, we go 9-7 and miss the tourney.

bingo. I agree. So how we lose also matters..if we get blown out in a ugly game..heads will roll this week. If we keep it close and lose...no firings this week. THIS GAME LOOMS LARGE ON MANY FRONTS. A defining game for us..is right.

that's this teams m.o..our defense hasn't really been able to stop screens or the run all year. If we fail..its game over by half. Turn the TV off. lol..If we can adjust and do halfway decent covering those flaws..then we have a gamblers chance.
