Raiola should have been suspended for our playoff game

One game suspension isn't sufficient for this scumbag. Lions are the dirtiest team in the league. With his rep and their team's rep, the league should have sent a firm message to them by suspending Raiola for the season. This dude got off easy.

I think we're far more disgusted because Dallas appears to be headed for a playoff game with Detroit, and we probably wouldn't care so much if that wasn't the case. With that said, this dude is a clown, but being forced to sit out the game that will decide the NFCN winner is a pretty good punishment. I'm just glad the league didn't wuss out and simply fine him.

What I don't understand is how the league reviews an incident like this and someone decides that a 2 game suspension would be to harsh. Mind boggling!

Pretty cheap shot. Cowboys do owe the Lions a payback, if they meet they will deliver it in the playoffs.

Its bad enough these athletes risk injury with every snap. But to have it inflicted out of malice is unacceptable.

I agree. This team is known for cheap shots WELL after the play.

The league needs to make an example of some form.

It has nothing to do with them possibly facing the Cowboys in the playoffs. It was a deliberate act of cowardice that doesn't need to be in the game. In addition, we want to see some consistency in punishments. Suh got two games when he stomped a player a few years ago. This one was just as egregious. Plus he already had an incident earlier in the season. I wouldn't want any Cowboy player stomping on another players ankle during a game and would expect and accept a two game suspension for such an incident.

I'm sure when there are huge piles of guys fighting for a fumble or whatever there are some dirty things going on in that pile but you have to be very stupid to step on a guy's ankle where everyone can see it & there are multiple cameras focused on the field.

He's dirty but definitely not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Idiot.

Hey I'm not cool with anyone stomping anyone, but I'll just say I'm not going to buy that this has absolutely nothing to do with the Cowboys probably facing the Lions in the WC round. Generally speaking, we want to see Dallas get every advantage they can, whether we're comfortable admitting to it or not.

I would be happy if they would even call a penalty on some of the hits Romo takes. Penalty wise they seem to treat him like a running back. On one of his runs against the Colts when he slid, the defender came in and just pounded him full force.
