Who? Obviously I'm not a big hockey fan. Is he a coach? GM? Player? Most hockey players aren't named Ralph.

Ralph has been the Dallas Stars play-by-play announcer for the last 25 years. He and Daryl "Razor" Reaugh (color analyst) have been the Dallas Stars dynamic duo for the last 19 years and are considered one of if not the best in all the NHL. They have won countless awards as being the best and if you ever read other SBNation NHL team boards, many times when those teams play the Stars, many of other teams fans say they watch the Stars broadcast just to listen to Ralph and Razor because they are so entertaining to listen too.

This really sucks. I hate this as much as I hated it when the Texas Rangers lost Mark Holtz. Hello Loss Column.

Sturm comes off more as a color guy rather than a play-by-play guy.
