i to this day think steel magnolias is one of the most overrated movies of all time... it just wasn't that good quite frankly.

fried green tomatoes on the other hand was a masterpiece.

OK, this thread's gettin' weird...

I like it...

It's Rambo running around the jungle blowing **** up and killing people what more can you ask for :)

That reminds me of when I first caught the John Cena movie "The Marine" on cable... my nephew hadn't seen it yet, and asked me what I thought of it... I told him I thought it was an OK action flick, except they must have blown up about 6 houses or stores in the exact same way, by cappin' off a few rounds in a propane tank...

With Cena diving out of a window at the last possible second, of course... that boy got his butt kicked a LOT in that movie, it was hard to believe he was ever WWE champion... :D

I would have preferred a bit more variety in the pyrotechnics, LOL... you see one propane tank go up, you've seen 'em all...

The bad guy was pretty cool, though, I don't know his name but he was the "bad" Terminator in Terminator 2... and his crew was good for a few laughs...

Saw that at the theaters. Ok, you can pretty much predict the plot, so you just try to enjoy the action.

The Terminator guy gets me. Every time I see him, I can't remember who he is. :) He was in a few Sopranos episode where he gets in a bad gambling debt to Tony's crew. Then recently saw him in We are Marshall, and once again I had to go to IMDB to find out who he was. I guess seeing him age throws me off. :laugh1:

Movie Review: Rambo

Off the chain!! Off the chain!!! I left the movie theater pumped up.

This is must see if you like any of the other Rambo movies.

This is classic John Rambo doing his thing.

Rambo is still in the jungles of Asia and he is older, wiser, and remains a killing machine.

The critics hate the movie, but that's fine by me. I liked the last Rocky movie, Rocky Balboa, so I endorse Rambo.

Now I wouldn't take my wife to go see it. I went alone, but hey, I wanted some action. I wanted to see my boy Rambo doing his thing.

In spite of the fact that I tend to think scrugss is a total *******, I sadly have to agree with him this once. Rambo is a good action movie- in the pattern of the old action movies- not the watered down crap that passes for it today.

Finally saw this last night. Big improvement over Rambo III, and a pretty good action movie.

But this was extremely graphic. I'm glad my wife declined to come along. Genocide, rape, multiple beheadings, bodies being shredded into hamburger, etc. Not for the faint of heart.

Finally saw this movie. Seeing it again tonight.

The 50 cals part was awesome! Except that Rambo got hit by one and it was like he got hit by a BB gun. :laugh1:

This movie is really intense.Yes,it is very graphic but you come
away as if you just watched actual war footage very realistic.I came
out of the theater still trying to catch my breath.Take the beginning
of Saving Private Ryan and ramp it up x10 just to give you an idea.
