Ram's Cook pushes Austin on sideline

That's insane. Can you imagine if Dez did that? They put the camera on him for shouting on sidelines. Can you imagine him pushing Romo? We'd never hear the end of it.

It was very weird. I like to give guys the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he said something we missed or didn't hear?

He's a new quarterback that's a rookie that's trying to get the team to respect him and you do him like that?

He's probably a decent tight end. Dude wouldn't be on my team after that.

that player would be off my team if I were running that show. Kudos to Hayes for stepping in.

I won't rush to judgement because we don't know what was said.

Could go either way on this one. I wouldn't be shoving my QB though, especially when he is the one choosing to throw me the rock.

Could y'all just imagine what the media would've done if this was Dez shoving Romo?? We would never hear the end of it. Dez would instantly be labeled a team cancer, the whole Dallas Cowboys franchise would be labeled as dysfunctional, the media would say Dez doesn't deserve a big contract, etc. But since the incident involved Jared Cook and Austin Davis and the St. Louis Rams, nobody will care about it tomorrow.

From what I understand he's been on the Rams since 2013.

But anyway, I suspect that Cook was just really frustrated with himself in general, and happened to take it out on the first guy who approached him.
That's my guess. Looked like Austin was saying something along the lines of "get em next time" and Cook just didn't want to hear it.

I think this is probably a non-issue.

What I find funny is Shaun Hill in the back. He's just clapping like,"Nice scuffle, nice scuffle....Where has my career gone?"

Thinking he was cheering Hayes on for setting straight their idiot TE.

Looks like the young qb had his hand extended for a low 5 or handshake right before contact...........appears Cook didn't want any

Best guess. Cook has been around awhile and may have not wanted a raw rookie chewing on him. IDK

Yeah... hitting him square in the hands for a TD... deserves a push...

No excuse for that move...

I'd like to know if Austin said something to him. If he said something in a snarky manner, then I understand. Heat of the moment in a close game and he just dropped a pass. And doesn't want to hear about it from some 3rd stringer. Not saying it's right but it's understandable.

But if he was just doing it to do it, then that's not cool. And he's an idiot. Either way, I'm glad they lost their cool. You didn't see that goofy QB running and jumping around as the game went on and we hit them back in the face.

Hahaha I noticed that too. And the guy in white holding the Gatorade got a little flustered for a sec.

Haha! I barely noticed that. "Guuuys I have this one job, don't make me spill!"

I retracting this statement after seeing the video. Guy just got frustrated and took it out on the wrong guy. Or he's just a jerk; at least for that moment. Whatever. It'll likely blow over like fights do. At least I hope so. I like the player and wanted him to be a Cowboy. Not sure why he's not done better in this league as he has the tools. He's slimmed down and looks more muscular than when at South Carolina. Dropping balls and possibly being a jerk might explain some of his problems if so. He's faster than a lot of WRs so he should be a helluva hybrid TE. Something is holding him back.

I wonder if anyone approaches Murray with a handshake gesture during the 1st quarter they may get the same treatment. He would certainly have a free hand, its not like he's holding onto a football or anything.

It was pure bush-league....

The QB hits him square in the hands and he drops it.... THEN he reacts as he did...

I'm not a reactionary guy but I may cut him...

OK... maybe I'm reactionary...
