Rams get #1 overall

I would be extremely disappointed if they were inclined to take Tunsil. Nothing wrong with the player, but how they can consider having to pay five OL top shelf money in the future is the problem.

I would use Tunsil as the trade down bait in the event Cleveland or San Diego does not take him.

If Tunsil is there, you draft him and figure that out later. Likely, it means not reupping Frederick.

Yeah i get it. The team would definitely have to pick and choose who to re-sign. But for a 3-4 year window, financially it shouldn't be an issue. Then you would have some tough choices to make. But by all accounts, you're getting a stud. With the other guys on the board, we really dont know what to expect.

Well that was a nice dream while it lasted.

Can't wait 3 years from now when we are scrambling to find a franchise QB.

The QB position is only going to get worse in the college ranks too. So it doesnt look good for our future at all. Then again, who knows what QB will be around when Romo is done.

Pick is going to be Tunsil, Ramsey, Elliott or Lynch.

And yes if we love Lynch, we do not even entertain an offer to trade down and get him.

No chance Elliott or Lynch is taken at 4. None. Zip. Nada.

Thats insane. You've invested enough in offensive line. This team doesn't get considerably better by adding him. Go get a right tackle in the 3rd round if you need one.

Like the RT that we drafted last year in the 3rd round that didn't play a snap last year? This is more than likely Free's last year so taking a dominant RT is not insane, the draft is about acquiring good young talent.

But they traded like this is the last year you can draft a qb. They don't have a first rounder next year because of this.

Doesn't matter about next year.

They looked at Wentz (i believe it's going to be Wentz) and said you know; 40 on the Wonderlic, big arm, athletic as heck they believe, as do i, that Wentz has every chance to be a star NFL player.

No number 1 next year is a small price to pay.

This makes a trade down scenario more likely.

The Rams got fleeced, but it's a risk you take if see a franchise QB.

Titans get:

pick #15, 43, 45, 76
2017 RD1 + RD3

nice job by the titans

My guess for the Rams would be Goff bc of the California connection

Goff at 1, Wentz at 2 and we get Ramsey?

I would think San Diego would take Tunsil, but the Chargers might go with Ramsey, which means we likely would choose between Tunsil and Bosa. Since offensive lineman isn't a pressing need, I might depend on where we rank Bosa (although other players could be in consideration such as Buckner and Elliot).

Collins will likely move outside if Green can't work out. It's easier to find an OG anyway.

Drafting another OL would be a waste of resources IMO.

Adam Schefter was just on Mike & Mike saying that the Browns weren't necessarily taking a quarterback at No. 2 anyway.

Does it matter? This means QBs 1/2 so unless we take Lynch at 4 (doubtful) no QB for us.
Probably why Dallas couldn't make the move if they tried. Titans wanted that many picks, so it had to be a trade with someone like the Rams.

Ha ha, the Rams got all Washington's picks and did nothing with them. Now they give away all their picks. Jeff Fisher is out of a job in 2017.

and no promise that any of these will pan out so hey, in 3 years we could be bringing in hutch to replace quincy or henson to replace hutch.

my - a new qb however you get them doesn't mean problem solved so why people pretend THEIR player of choice = problem solved befuddles me.

then again so do cheetos and porn.

I think that this just reinforces the fact that quarterback is far and away the most important position in sports, and the most difficult to fill.

The Rams have just essentially given up their next two draft classes to get one, after Sam Bradford missed and the trade for Nick Foles didn't work out.

The roles have reversed from just a few years ago, when it was the Commanders handing over a boatload of picks to the Rams. Now, Los Angeles hands theirs over to Tennessee, who feel they have their quarterback in Mariota.

At this point, there is no doubt that this league is all about the quarterback. You either have one, or you don't.

Now, the next shoe to drop is whether the Browns in fact draft the other quarterback at #2?

Do you think he is worth the 4th pick...not meant as a jerk question...just asking for insight.

If they feel he is a franchise QB...they should feel he is worth it. I think his floor is lower than Goff's but his ceiling could be just as high as Wentz.

In a fantasy world I would rather trade down and still get him but with QBs always being over drafted and the top two coming off the board...I would not want to risk it if he is who they view as a Franchise QB.

IF they do NOT view him as a franchise QB...take the player they have rated the highest on their board that also fits a need. We could use DE, DB, LB, DT, RB, WR and of course I doubt they would take Tunsil if he fell but they would have to consider it.

Or a Wilson. Or a Rodgers. Or a Rapelisberger. Etc. Outside of the Mannings there haven't been that many QBs to win Super Bowls drafted 1/2

Since the year 2000
Super Bowl winning QBs (drafted outside of the top 5 picks
2015--Brady (6th round)
2014--Wilson (3rd round)
2013--Flacco (18th pick)
2011--Rodgers (24th pick)
2010--Brees (2nd round, early)
2009--Roethlisberger (11th pick)
2006_Roethlisberger (11th pick)
2005--Brady (6th rd)
2004--Brady (6th rd)
2003--B Johnson (9th rd)
2002--Brady (6th rd)
2001--Dilfer (6th pick)
2000-Warner (undrafted)

9 different QBs that were not taken in the top 5 in that short stretch won SBs
2 (both Mannings) were not
