I'm more upset at losing to the Rams than to Green Bay.
The GB game was a toss up going in but there is no excuse for losing to the Rams at home.

i dont know if it was a toss up, but you are correct about the losses. I can accept GB, we are not contenders, i feel we should have beaten the rams

Yep, I kind of already had us penciled in to lose to Green Bay. Losing the Rams game might keep the team out of the playoffs. Well the fact they suck might keep them out of the playoffs but they had no business losing that game.

For some reason, going back to the that 2007 game where they knocked Favre out of the game, Cowboys - Packer regular season games often feel like playoff games to me.

Therefore, they are more deflating when the loss happens.

That's just me.

Nope, yesterdays game was a gut punch. Simply for the fact that they did the same **** as the week before - Rams game. Up by 15 blow second half. Another team makes half-time adjustments. Yet another team benefits from our mediocre (at best) coaching and in-game situational football.
Yes, the GB games always have that playoff atmosphere but we cant consistently lose at home the same way year after year. Its now 7 of the last 9 games I believe.
We are consistently inconsistent.
I woke up this morning, and I'm still pissed .....

How long before Ginger is supposed to have learned on the job ? Same ol fundamental mistakes and players not coached up. I do believe that Romo was the coordinator on the field, just like Lee is now. And when they are gone, it shows how much they covered up this coaching stall. When will the ******** stop !

Is this what we are reduced to? Arguing over which loss hurts more?

Hey, which one of our Ws was less satisfying--the one over the winless Giants or against the Cards that just got smoked by our division leaders?

The Rams loss frustrates more because you can make the case that one muffed punt changed the entire complexion of that game.

Such a simple play that leads to a horrendous downward spin.

Losing to the Rams hurts a lot worse when you look at the possible playoff scenarios because Seattle more than likely wins that division, so the Rams would be a possible wild card team. Green Bay wins the North just like they do every single year, Detroit always blows it at the end.

So if we assume we don't win the division and are fighting for a wildcard, the Rams having tiebreak on us hurts like hell since they will be in the wildcard race as well.

Of course if we keep losing its a moot point anyways, but something to think about.

They hurt the same because this is another season with a defend that fails us and means we won't be winning a super bowl

And if your not winning a super bowl your just twiddling your thumbs in mediocrity

After watching both teams before we played them i was sure we could and would beat GB. I was very unsure about the Rams.

Anyways...

Both were the first big games we had. And we found a way to lose both. Good teams win those matchups.
Still i am upbeat because our offense is coming together. Football is decided in Nov. and Dez. and i think we are heading in the right direction.

So is Green Bay a contender?

no Mike McCarthy just knows how to steal JGs lunch and eat it front of him. Just because i dont bash a team for beating us and acting like it was a fluke and GB has had a better run against us doesnt make them world beaters, it just means their coaches know how to out think our coaches. Nothing wrong with it it happens. I just know if you are a better person, McCarthy is the better bet over the team. Now all that might rest more on a good A Rod, that can be a case, but if McCarthy has a compentent QB, i think he can still beat on JG. Also for whatever reason the Cowboys are scared of Rodgers, they cant even stop a gimpy A Rod.

No less important than the other two losses...which point out that the Cowboys are middle of the pack at present.
