Lord almighty I hope they do that.

So if the Rams stack the LOS you think Romo can beat them deep? Have you seen the last two games? If anything it would have to be tremendous RAC from Dez to make a big play because Romo can't do it with his arm.

Instead of enjoying the championship, they will be complaining about mistakes during the game and not being able to repeat.

I'll be complaining about that stinking downtown parade that always ends up in a riot. :p

I think this is the week we see dunbar involved in the offense. Maybe some 2 running back configurations. If they load the box, dunbar is going to see the ball on the outside.

I think he meant that he hopes Weeden is ready?

Anyway, if Romo's back is a problem it will be a real cat and mouse game with him and the Rams defense if they sell out to stop the run.

The last time the Cowboys visited that stadium probably overconfident they got pimp-slapped.
"It's the Rams, dude"

That's the thing... Nothing is a gibes with the cowboys.

In the 90s you could pick 12-13 out 16 games and know we would win

Not anymore

Doesn't need to go deep. Run some quick slants, 20 yard posts. short to medium routes, with all the WR's & TE's. Though TE may stay back to block.
Take the 10 to 20 yard gains, or even if they are 7 to 10 yards. If it's effective and gets 1st downs, still keeps TOP in order. move down the field. i'm fine with that. Just get the TD's, not FG's.

Romo does not need to chuck it deep every play just because the LOS is stacked.

How is that a good example? Saints are 0-2 with a defense that has given up 63 points in two games. They have problems where they should be worried about any half way decent team.

  1. unsuspecting cowboys take the SOSAR 'tude and step into a buzzsaw instead.

    Rams 30, Cowboys 16

Suspect run D......I just can't pick the Rams this week.
The Rams O seems to be a mismatch with the Dallas D notated how bad they are.
Hopefully Romo has one of "those" games, outside of that,
    Dallas 31
    Rams 23

Much tougher team than the depleted Buccanners who weren't really that good even before all the injuries. Not making any predictions, but hoping for a surprise. Not expecting it, though.

Are you asking if I think Romo, Witten, Beasley and T-Will can be effective? The answer is a definite yes.

With the main component of that running at half speed and effectiveness compared to 4-5 years ago, I would say no.

Its obvious the Rams will be taking this strategy against the Cowboys. If it works, every team will follow. I really wonder about the back issue with Romo.

If I am defensive coordinator I don't let Murray beat me....I make Romo beat me. Load the box with 8 and cheat with DBs. I think we are going to start seeing that as game plan going forward. We will find out soon enough if this just rust or more serious back issues preventing Romo from looking like his old self.

You don't have to throw bombs to beat a team stacking the line.

Other than 45-50 yards in the air, Romo can make the throws. It's his footwork and hip rotation, not his arm strength, that needs to get back in synch.

Seems pretty basic, doesn't it.

The Titanic sinks weekly around here.

However, the passing game of a visiting team in a dome normally does have some issues.
They would struggle without a run game...but I think they can run, just not like last week.

Win the turnover battle and get some good play by Special Teams, and we may toot need to score a ton today.

hello cowboy fans, this should be a good game. these teams are pretty evenly matched, almost the same record the last couple years. I think the Rams will try to stop Murray first and foremost, see if Romo can take a hit (he's gonna get hit) and try to force the boys to pass.
I also think Jared Cook gets 120yrds. and 2 TD's.

I doubt most of the Rams fans are too keenly aware of the difference between what most "experts" expected from our defense and the higher level of play that has actually occurred here. Aside from that being the case, though, I'm not so sure this game will turn out to be an easy one for us but we'll see very shortly now.

If that's all the yards and TD's they get as a team, no FG's, total, then that will be fine, as long as we get 15 points. Even if it's 5 FG's from Bailey. :D

Romo can take a hit, he got hit plenty against the Titans.
Force him to pass? You haven't stopped Murray yet, so what's different now? Oh, we have a better OL to counter any. if any improvement in your DL.
