Rams release Marc Bulger

:lmao2: And to think, Shannahan could've had his placeholder at QB without giving up anything, if only he just waited one extra day. :lmao2:

Lets not be silly, McNabb>>>>Bulger

The Rams only made this move because of the McNabb trade, seeing that the Commanders won't be trading up to get Bradford now

I'm thinking you're right. Plus, I think it would have a taken a WHOLE lot to get them to not take Bradford now. He looks very good---much bigger and stronger. I also think Bulger is due a bonus, but I may be mistaken.

I guss this means Cleveland and Buffalo are not making huge offers, or SL has decided they just are not going to let a possible franchise QB pass them by for the thrid year in a row.

Exactly.

The only real potential trade partner was Washington. The Rams would have still had a top 5 pick and potentially a whole lot more.

I don't see the Rams moving to 7 or 9 from number 1 overall.

With the Commanders out of the running, they'll take their man and go from there. And I do believe Bulger was owed a bonus

True but I do think the skins still take a QB some where in the draft. The McNabb move only makes sense if you have a rookie QB that you plan on grooming for a couple of season.

Well that just about locks down Bradford for the Rams at #1.

Which is funny b/c a large number of fans swore Suh would go #1 overall.

Quite a few more QBs in the 2011 draft.

To me this QB draft was Bradford or nobody. And its clear the Commanders won't get Bradford

True. No faith in Colt Brennan or Richard Bartel?

Call me crazy, but I think whoever gets Colt McCoy will wind up being very happy with that draft pick.

Hes someone who I didn't take seriously when he came in as UT's QB, but the guy exceeded just about every expectation placed on him and if not for a fluke injury (Suh trashed him and he kept getting back up and going for it) then he'd have a national championship to his name as well.

Or maybe I'm just biased because hes a Romo fan also.

I hope your right I like Colt but I have doubts about his game at this next level. I loved Major Applewhite in College but also had doubts about his ability to produce at the next level.

Bulger to SF or AZ now?? Since the new trend is keeping a rival QB in the same division! :laugh2:
