Wouldn't mind him, but Weeden will not be released for him.
Mainly a matter of knowing the offense.
But as a 3rd QB I would not be against it. But won't rue not brining in him in either.

He didn't look bad but they are not cutting Weeden and starting the season with a QB who doesn't know the system
Weeden is in his last year so have patients but he's not getting cut now

Is he more valuable than Ken Bishop? Seems likely. We kept a lot more front 7 guys than expected.

Almost sure Jerry and company are looking to make a trade to get a pick for one of the extra DL if need be.

I would not be against this at all. I made a mental note about this guy when we played the Rams last year and thought that he was a pretty decent QB. If it was not for a couple of drops buy his targets we very well may have lost that game. I believe he is leaps and bounds ahead of Weeden.

I'd love to have him as a backup. It probably won't happen but he would be nice to fill in if Romo goes down.

I'd cut Edwards before I'd cut Bishop. I'd cut Brinkley before I'd cut Bishop.

Yep. Bishop can be Hayden's replacement in the base and the only true 1-tech on this roster. Hopefully he makes the next step sooner rather than later.
