It is probable that Wentz and Goff will go top 2. Ramsey or Tunsil are the main options at 3. If San Diego goes Tunsil which leaves us with the very likely choice of Ramsey, would you play him at corner or safety? Personally I would want him at corner and Karl Joseph in the 2nd at safety. Where would you rather him play?

I think it would be fun to watch Ramsey and Jones both at safety. Not your typical combo, but it would be intertesting to watch both those guys as athletic as they are to face the qb and play the ball. Could be a great opportunity it to let your cbs be physical at the line with those two playing deep.

I think Ramsey would play both positions depending on the opponent, just like Byron Jones did last year. A shutdown CB is always more valuable than a top Safety, but if Scandrick, Claiborne, Carr and Olatoye are on the roster it probably makes more sense to start Ramsey at Safety as a rookie and work him in CB reps depending on the opponent.

Long term I think Ramsey and Jones would be the starting CBs once they have experience in the league.

Ramsey at Safety>>> Ramsey at Corner

I disagree, I think people look at the fact that we have struggled at safety since Woodson retired and want to put someone, anyone there, but I think Ramsey is better at CB then he is at safety. For starters, at safety he had 0 interceptions and 0 forced fumbles last year. The previous year, he had 2 interceptions and 3 forced fumbles from the corner back position. I also think with his longer arms are more of an asset at CB then they are at safety. Similar to Jones, he has enough athletic ability to play either, but I think he'll be better at corner than safety

I see this being the case. Everyone seems to think we are getting rid of Carr as soon as we draft Ramsey, but considering Scandy is coming off of injury that just seems insane. Use Ramsey this year like we used Jones last year, playing a bit of everything, and then have him move into his long term position next year.
