Ramsey or Jack @ 4

I will admit since I am in ACC country I have not seen Jack play that much. My issue with him is coming off an injury and he plays LB. I have seen almost all of Ramsey's games and to me he is a monster safety.

Ramsey is the pick.

Have you ever seen a safety valued enough to go top four in any draft?

No. But this is the new NFL and Jerry is in charge. The worst part of are defense I believe is are secondary. We need a overhaul. I want a Quarterback man and a pray we get one.

Jack. Can't stomach the thought of another corner that high. Thanks Mo

That's how I feel. I like Ramsey. His highlights have shown me promise but I just can't think of us taking a db that high and it failing again.

I'd rather goff if there or jack if it came to it. A lot of people are sleeping on treadwell too

Jack for me, given the options.

We drafted a FS in the first last year.

Treadwell is my guy @4 though

Roy Williams, Sean Taylor, and Eric Berry are the only guys I can think of.

None really played at the level you would expect a top 5 pick to play at.

Ed Reed was in the Roy Williams draft and Earl Thomas was in the Berry draft.

This truly is the question. I have been saying Jack all along but Ramsey is the only other player I would consider taking over Jack.

Which is better?

1. Jack
2. William Jackson III
3. Karl Joseph

or

1. Jalen Ramsey.
2. Sua Cravens
3. Kentrell Brothers

I find both options appealing. If you could convince me that Jaylon Smith would be there in the second then I would be all aboard the Ramsey express.

But these are the three positions I want to see addressed in the first 3 rounds.

I think we can get a DT and RB in the 4th.

What we do on FA may change my entire outlook.

Option No. 1, please. :)

As for the question, if we're not going quarterback or running back with the first pick, we need someone who can create pressure in the pass rush department. Although Jack is a linebacker, you can still bring him on blitzes.

Furthermore, it always seems as if the Cowboys are hunting linebackers, so the position is still somewhat unsettled. And the question becomes can you get a linebacker like Jack later in the draft or a corner/safety like Ramsey in the later rounds?

I personally think William Jackson III will end up being a better corner than Ramsey, and despite his rise up the charts, he should be there in the second.

So ... go back, back, back for Jack, Jack, Jack for more, more, more.

I don't like this scenario but between these two I'd take Jack. #4 is too high to use a pick on someone like Ramsey who is a great athlete but most scouts can't even agree on what position he'll play in the NFL. He was good but I don't see where he dominated at CB or safety.

I'm not for or against Jack, but he is an undersized linebacker who was a two way player coming back from a major knee injury suffered in September 2015.

I'm playing devils advocate here because I really do like the player, but how sure are we about this guy.

What exactly is the point of this video? Jack was a true freshman and probably in the 215 range tackling a should be TE. Nearly every LB at one point or another has been trucked.

You know Jack is ready to go for the combine right, his injury was not an ACL, it was a meniscus tear.

Jack is going to blow up the combine but so is Ramsey.

I bet following the combine we start seeing prospect lists with those two ranked 1 and 2.

Jack. Hard to beat any of the top teams without speed at the LB position

I will not be surprised at all on both, it will be interesting to watch not only these two but how prospects projected all over the first round rise and fall in this process as we go forward.
