Ramsey replaces Brunell

last minute hail mary fails........

It's safe to say we would've won if Ramsey played the full game......

it is?

what if maybe the bengals DB's had used some pint tar or something? They must have dropped 6 or 8 easy ints...Ramsey was terrible man

David

eh.....I'm also counting on Ramsey picking up some timing with the first string this week......

As for 6-8 passes DB's dropped......I told you guys on the first page he would do that........He forces throws when he's throw into the "hero" position. Go back to the giants game....he threw 3 ints/........He got lucky this game, but I doubt he'll throw that many ill-advised passes next week because he doesn't have to play savior.

Either way, as long as he shows improvement fromm the spurrier era I'll be happy. If he averages a QB rating of 80+ the last 6 games I'll be satisfied. Other wise we'll be drafting a QB and not d-line.

I can't see the love for ramsey. He hasn't been able to beat out brunell all season long. You know gibbs would start him if he performed in practice. He doesn't seem to have football instincts. Hes got a big arm and toughness and then it iends there.

Oh thats easy......

Gibbs is not trying to follow the WIN NOW philosophy we've had the last 6 years. He is not going to put Ramsey in until he is 100% knowledgible of the offense. He wants the offensive lineman to fully gel before he puts a less mobile QB behind the line. Gibbs will not put Ramsey back there until he's held the clipboard long enough. Gibbs believes throwing him in there now will pressure him into the savior role and cause him to force throws. Gibbs is still teaching Ramsey to see the whole field as well. We all need to pretend he's a rookie and give him time. He is not keeping Brunnel in because of the money or because he doesn't want to admit he made a wrong chioce. The fact is that he never made the wrong chioce. Gibbs is sacrificing wins this year to make this team better for the future. Nobody in their right mind can disagree with that.

Gibbs only played Ramsey ( even though he's not ready ) because he couldn't possibly do better than Brunell.........Honestly we would've won that game. Now if Pat starts he's gotta face the EGIRLS.....not exactly the best team to build confidence against.....
