With QBs expected to come off the board 1-2 when the 2016 NFL Draft gets underway on Thursday, it's well-established that some highly rated position players will be selected later than initially thought. A poll of NFL evaluators released Tuesday by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel adds more credence to that belief.
The Journal Sentinel conducted a poll of 19 "national-oriented personnel men" this month, asking them to name the draft's best player, regardless of position. Here's how the voting went:

And yet there are plenty of faux 'evaluators' who would hate us taking the best player in the draft at 4.

"national-oriented personnel men?"

You don't say? I think we can safely conclude this is rock solid, then.

I like Ramsey just fine, and it wouldn't surprise me to see actual personnel men agree, but it's hard to put much stock in the Sentinel poll here. Good topic, though.

Are they just voting on talent alone? Because how could one vote for Smith as the 4th best player with such a dark cloud hanging over him?

That's not really a surprise.
Either Tunsil or Ramsey, I would think.

I think the question is whether being national oriented is biological by nature, or a learned trait?

For Dallas I think you are correct. But Tunsil is a more valuable prospect for other squads.

I agree with Tyron Smith signed long term what is Dallas going to do draft Tunsil at 4 and make him a RT? Sorry no way I would draft an OT for the right side at that spot. This is not a knock on Tunsil but would make no sense for Dallas to draft him.

Reminds me of the draft when Mo came out. Mo may have been built up more.

NFLN reporter based with Chargers said they are not in love with Tunsil or the DE prospects including Buckner and are looking at Ramsey hard.

Essentially said they think Tunsil is athletic but needs work and that they think they can get DL help in other rounds.

They are open to trades but no calls yet.
