If Norv as head coach and Campo as the DC we will be in the lottery next year

that kinda stuff is funny. Dallas was in the playoffs this year with horrible coaching from Parcells this season. I cant see anyone they hire being much worse than what Dallas had this year....It almost has to be better IMO esp play calling wise

I can live with Norv and Garrett was OC...and I doubt Campo is getting any position here but Dallas could do far worse than him as DC. he sucked as a head coach but he isnt a bad defensive guy. He was good enough to be on Jimmy's staff

If Jerry was smart he would get a DC who can and will run both... because he has alot talent and/or Draft picks & FA money on D... almost all of these guys in the front 7 can play both!!! we need a DC who can take advantage of the collection of talent!!!


Wasnt that the plan to begin with? the front 7 would have the ability to play both...

Zim just didnt have the Balls to use the players in multiple roles (guess he ran out of hand signals)!!!

there could be worse things...but Norv is a great offensive coach...and Campo wasnt bad as a DC...not great, but not bad

Sorry a worn out Bill is better than the Poodle and Norv combined as a headcoach.

Campo is an ok DC not bad but the Combination of two weak guys that Jerry will walk over. Sorry this team will be in the toilet drafting in the top 10.

Now I think Norv is an awesome OC but a horrible headcoach.

Campo is crap as a HC

Campo is awesome as a position coach or DC....The players love the guy. They play balls out for him.

I am not sure I want Campo back in Dallas, but if we do bring him back as our DC, it certainly won't be the end of the world.

I'm telling you, Norv Turner with Jason Garrett as OC! I think Dave Campo would come back to run the 4-3 flawlessly!

If Jerry goes and picks the whole staff it won't be long that we will be the laughing stock of the nfc again..All of the people that wanted Parcells gone did you really think Jerry could make a decent hire and keep his hands out of all of the hires? When Parcells left it was a bad thing for us. When this hire fails.. hopefully Bill C. will be ready to get back in coaching.

Mickey was just on the ticket and didnt seem to think Garrett was really up for HC. thought if he got the OC position that Dallas gets Turner for HC

threw out the name of Dave Campo as DC.....

does that mean we need to trade Ware to get Coakley back ?

I could live with Norv as HC and Jason as OC...great combination I think. I always falt that Jason would be a good coach someday.

I see no reason that we could not move right into a 4-3 if Campo came back as DC. And I think Campo was a very good DC too bad about his shortcomings as a HC but he was good as DC.

I think the personnel could easily translate to a 4-3 as follows:

Ellis and Ware moving back to DE (especially in pass rush situations) and rotating with Hatcher and Canty at DE.

Then we move Spears in next to Ferguson in the middle and rotate them with Ratliff and Stanley (or pick someone else up).

Put Bradie James in the middle with Carpenter at the Sam and either Burnett or Adel at the Will. I think probably Burnett with Adel then able to fill in at any of the three spots.
