that might depend on who has the final say. kellen liked what he saw. pretty sure mac did as well. the jones still hold out hope they can win the east and get to the playoffs. if they believe gilbert gives us the best chance to win, they might subtly suggest that to mac and company. but imo, gilbert looked far better than andy. more accurate, more composed and much more mobile. we need that.

Depends on the agreement with Dalton coming in because they knew he was just parking it for a year because it was a bad year for FA QB's.

I would prefer to watch Gigi because I like baby faced big men.

From the looks of things, it seems we probably found ourselves a better QB than what we originally had suspected. Garrett Gilbert might just prove himself to be a newfound blessing once he gets better acquainted with the Dallas offense. I'm really hoping he develops into someone to give this team a boost, whenever he's called upon. Of course, time will tell but apparently, we could have done far worse with any other QB that we had in house.

I think Cooper Rush will end up being the best choice going forward.

He got lost in the shuffle with McCarthy and Moore taking Dalton on.

Rush is healthy and has a good arm.

Something the rest other than Dalton do not have.

Gilbert repeatedly throws off his back foot falling backwards. DiNooch throws like a knuckleball pitcher.

But I really do not want any winning going forward.

But Rush can be the backup once Dalton is gone.

Lawrence is going 1st and all anyone has to do is watch as good a team as there is without that guy at QB. They're not the same team without him and it's not about stats.

The only teams that might end up with that 1st and not take him are CIN and HOU and they would trade it for a buttload of picks. The Jags or Jets end up there, he's gone.

The other element to this is the way these QB's like Burrow, Herbert, Murray, Tua and Mahomes are looking. Not many are thinking about Haskins and Rosen.

I think the defense is starting to gel with the new system and Gilbert played much, much better than DiNucci. I'm sure Dalton will be back after the bye week and rightfully so.

I guess I saw a different game than everyone else. An inept offense that only scored 1 TD. They're scored 1 TD in 3 games. An inept defense that couldn't get a turnover, gave up a 300/3TD performance and no sacks. We lost the turnover battle. Again. We lost the penalty battle, by a large margin. This team is just bad.

The only thing the defense did well was stop the run. I guess that's something.

The circle of losing will continue.

Nope. We have some players some team might want.

Amari or Wolf Hunter or Aldon Smith to name a few. Certainly Jaylon. Trade our 3..Add add a #2 pick from 2022 and trade up for Lawrence.

We missed our chance in 2016 to get a QB and settled for Dak.

Jerrah tried to trade back into the end of the 1st rd to get a QB after Zeke was selected at 4.

This year is the best chance to get the next QB.

Hopefully we will not be this low again for awhile. Defense has to be addressed but no way Dallas let's this receiver corp wither away unexploited.

QB must be addressed before anything else.
