So since its pretty clear that Randle had made it to the dog house and wont start even if healthy, Do we put him back to return punts and kickoffs?

Sure if you want more fumbling. Randle is at best when he is chasing down PR/KR.

No thank you...I'd rather they just try Whitehead back there and see if he can make a play or two.

I don't see why not. He is good in the open field. Can't be worse than Beasley or Dunbar.

How is it pretty clear that he's in the doghouse and won't start? He started this past Sunday, and was only taken out because of a back injury. Did he do/say something over the last couple days that I'm not aware of?

Don't trust him.

If Whitehead is active, he should be returning.

Put Randle on kickoff team and tell him to just go break the wall. Let's keep rolling with Whitehead. He appears to be settling in a bit. No need to stymie that growth.

Huh? He broke off two really good runs to start the game Sunday. You don't put a guy in the doghouse for getting hurt

Has he ever done it on any level? But, unless he runs backwards after catching it he can't be any worse

Whitehead seems to getting some plays those fake reverses will have defenses on their heels and boom deep to Dez. :p

Returning is not as simple as people think
Especially punts, it's very hard and something you need lots of experience at doing. It's more than just catching the ball which Beasley can do. He does have the best hands on the team by far
It's a skill few have
Lucky should be the return guy and I think he will be on kicks and will be worked in on punts
Randle seems to run better early and tail off later which is odd since most rb's get better as the game goes on but I would like to see him playing some of the role Dunbar did. He's not Dunbar but he would be effective I think in the open field
