Not sure if this has been posted, but I just heard that he won't be suspended, and JG said that Randall will be fined significantly, but will still play against the Giants on Sunday.

Just tell'em to run like a thief. :)

Have to admit to not really knowing much about Randle.
I had for some reason assumed he was one of those exceptional people. Don't ask me why.
I guess he's a whole lot dumber than I thought. My bad.

It's not some catastrophic situation by any means, but for some reason he was one of the players I would never expect to pull a stunt like that.

I've known some pretty good people with character flaws, kleptomania being included.

I hope the cowboy fans won't wave polo underwear if and when Randall make a TD.

He stole less than $150 worth of stuff with taxes added. He did not get to keep the stuff, nor can he pay for it and make the theft go away. The court system will likely assign him to pay restitution even though he did not get to keep the drawers or smell good. He may have to attend diversion programs and other counseling at the insistence of the NFL. He might have community service hours if the Judge orders it. The Dallas Cowboys fined him a minimum of $10,000 to $30,000 maximum for conduct detrimental to the team.

Some of you don't think that is enough punishment? Cool by me. How about we mock him on forums, social media, and twitter with Internet memes for a while?

Will that be enough?

I suppose.

Me personally, if I was the HC, I'd cut him or whatever and bring up Williams.

I'm sorry but this is one of those things where you can send a little message to the team (Even if it wouldn't apply to star players obviously) that you're not going to let things be taken lightly with this kind of foolish behavior.

He's a back up running back. I like Dunbar and Williams better anyway so I'd have him out of here. That's just me.

The Cowboys should mandate counseling. Up front and let the entire team and NFL and fans know this guy is valuable, and his redemption is important, but this will not be just swept under the rug like so many other teams and players seem to do.

This is not strike three for this guy.

But stealing is serious and it should be noted for the Cowboys, it's strike two, Randall.

This is a teachable moment for the entire team.

He should be cut for stealing cheap crap cologne. If you are going to steal, at least steal good stuff.

Ray McDonald beat the crap outta his better half and played opening day against Dallas.

Unless Randle did a beat down on some cologne and underwear, why wouldn't he play? ?

Yeah, I agree.
It doesn't make him a "bad person".
I was just saying that basically, if I had to pick someone on the team that would be busted for shop-lifting, Randle was not someone that would have come to mind.

I would probably cut him too (my bias or agenda of liking Ryan Williams), but the fact is I am not the Head Coach, and this act is relatively minor in comparison to a lot of bad things he could have done, and he is paying a hefty cost for the mistake. How many of you would like to pay a minimum of $10,000 for stealing something from a store?

I'm not raising my hand on that rhetorical question.

As opposed to losing a $500K job??? Raising my hand now for the $10K fine. And I would have made it a bigger deal (punishment) than just a fine as well, but that's just me - I have to walk my talk about tolerating distractions and behaviors detrimental to the team. Like 2Deep I would also use this as a teaching moment. Unlike what is being done (is anything??) with Spillman and his 2 separate sexual assault allegations.
