I'm also fully prepared to hear the coaching staff praise, both, Jihad Ward and Richard Ash, my guess is to justify (at least to themselves) not being aggressive at the position in free agency. I remember Leon Lett talking up Ash last year like he was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

There are probably going to be a lot of Earl Thomas discussions as well from the media.

Yeah, most coaches use training camp quotes to encourage players who are on the border to make the team, light a fire under players they expect more out of or are on the way out, along with the usual litany of “coachspeak”. Garrett by now has a complete “go to” list of words for his daily presser. I can’t think of a bigger waste of time than listening to the robotic monotones of Coach G essentially telling us nothing.

The most obvious. The Dez Fan Bois will hate on Dak like there is no tomorrow.

Dez will not have a job by the time training camp opens so there will be speculation that we may/should bring Dez back again.

Dez will still be an idiot. No suitors. No pay raise.

Tapper will actually be healthy for the first time ever, he will excel, we will cut him for some idiot and he will get 10 sacks this year for another team.

Taco will remain a soft, wet, wilted lettuce taco with no spice. We will keep him anyway and cut someone far more deserving of a draft slot.

We will continue to rue the 1Tech position.

We will pick up one player in cutdowns from another team that will make our final 53 man roster.

This may be Lee's farewell tour. Better enjoy this potentially last ride.

We make the NFC Championship game and go on to the super bowl. LVE is rookie of the year.

Wilson makes the team and ends up being a top 3 receiver on the team.

The 4th round DE we drafted will suck and may not make it out of training camp. Practice squad candiadate.
