What makes you say this?? Elam hits you with his shoulders & is an arm tackler at times, while Vaccaro wraps up with great technique & is pretty versatile when it comes to being able to line up everywhere on any given play. Vaccaro's 40 shouldn't be a concern either, he plays very quick on gameday.
Btw, elam played, strong nd free safety and in the slot, heck of a blitzer, he doesn't wrap up like he should but that's technique, which is taught nd from what I understand monte teaches fundamentals nd technique... Vacarro isn't bad id be happy with him or any player that makes us better. Just tired of this nonsense about elam can't cover, elam is too slow, elam only arm tackles... Elam is a missile he's not afraid tl hit anyone, he was the heart of florida defense nd especially the secondary... Underrated in coverage... He really does need to learn to wrap up... But that's taught..
