No...We want a backup QB and if the Rams do trade for a QB it will be for Mark Sanchez since the OC has ties with him from his time in NY.

'No chance' Sanchez would want to join Rams

A person with knowledge of the situation told USA Today there's "no chance" Mark Sanchez would want to reunite with OC Brian Schottenheimer in St. Louis.

Through three preseason games, Sanchez has been excellent in Chip Kelly's offensive system. We've seen him play in Schotty's, and the results weren't pretty. At age 27, Sanchez is content to spend one year as a backup. He can enter free agency next March, and will likely pursue a chance to start.

Jeesh you guys. This the third time this has been mentioned.

You need to understand that the Rams almost surely think Hill is WAY better than Weeden.
They wouldn't give us anything for him...plus we actually need him compared to what we could get for him.
So lose-lose trade.

Last time I checked the team could trade him with or without his consent.

True but from the Eagles standpoint a trade makes close to no sense for them unless the Rams want to grossly overpay. I suppose it could happen as they may be pretty desperate.

Folks, all Dallas could get for Weeden would be about a 5th or 6th rounder.

weeden to the rams??....for say a rookie DL??

The Rams were the 3rd or 4th best team in that division before Bradford got hurt. So why would they give up on a rookie DL to get Weeden to still be the 3rd or 4th best team in that division?

I think I recently saw a ranking of all the backups in the league and Weeden was ranked 26th (maybe 24th).

Some would say he is one of the worst backups in the league. I'd say he's about in the middle.

We could trade him and go with Hanie or Vaughan as our backup with Tony and his bad back.
