Some of the brightest stars in the sky. Their color is usually determined by how hot they are. (red cooler, white or blue hotter)

We had a family of raccoons living under our porch years ago. I sat and watched them for hours, very smart animals and funny.
We used to have one, when I was a teenager. It would shimmy up your side and sit on your shoulder, without using its claws.
A friend had one that would ride on the handlebars of his motorcycle, or the side mirror of his van.
Sadly, once they get older, they tend to get aggressive.

That is awesome!! Yeah, Idaho has some very rugged terrain which makes it very difficulty to carve a highway through it. Glad you had a chance to visit though!
Didn't just visit, lived there for 3 years. I had 3 separate job offers to move there over 5 years and I figured the 3rd one was destiny calling.

If family hadn't been the deciding factor when I hung it up, I'd be back there right now. My most favorite place I ever lived. Ironically, I am living in my least favorite state I have ever lived in but it is considered home and where my family is. Ya can't have everything like you want it.

My cousin had one named Norton after Art Carney in The Honeymooners with their Raccoon Lodge. He was really cool and he didn't get aggressive but later on he had a couple of monkeys and one turned into a poop hurling nightmare. He ended up with a spider monkey that hated people and especially their mailman. They'd chain him up on the porch and he hid on the overhang and leapt on the mailman and the guy lost it. He refused to deliver mail to their door after that and left it out at the sidewalk and the post office backed him up.

He ended up giving it to the zoo and they had to put a glass enclosure up because he had deadly aim with his poop and was really crafty waiting for his shot. He'd look all innocent until his target would make the mistake of coming closer, then whammo, monkey poop sammich and he aimed for the mouth every time. His keeper told my cousin that he could swear Ike was smiling every time he nailed someone. And he was undefeated until they put the glass up inside. On the outside part, he didn't throw any, I think he struggled with adjusting for the windage.

Yes, you did indeed allude to the fact you lived here. My bad!! Yeah, Idaho is a great place. I know a lot of people from around the country like to clown on it or look down their noses at it, but, it's a fantastic place to live. There are so many different kinds of topographies here. Well........you know. ;)

I guess I should've said I'm glad you got to experience Idaho.
