Some good players on that list. The "link" to Dallas, I always find curious. I think last year, we had no pre-draft links to Smith, Collins, Tapper, Brown or Frazier. Afterwards, I think we heard we went to see them, but don't remember hearing about it before the draft.

Hopefully there are some surprises. Not that I think we have done a bad job with who has been publicized, it just seems we have not done a very through job looking at certain positions.

Danny Coale was a bigger version of Cole Beasley who was wasted in our system. IMO. He was a coaches son who got injured and got lost in the WR numbers after several injuries(ACL/toe), he had Jimmy Smith potential impact in my mind. He was waived to make room for Jamar Newsome. I watched him at Virginia Tech as a four year starter with a very shaky QB in Logan Thomas his last year. I am just venting as I had high hopes for this guy and I felt like we stole him in the draft and got nothing out of him.

I hear ya man, and I remember Coale very well, my response was more macro-based in intent. I'd say the UDFAs (like Beasley) and late picks have generally done as expected or a little better, in general.

It'd be like me saying we're picking well in the 1st for a change, and someone saying "Mo Claiborne begs to differ" while disregarding Dez, Tyron, Fred, Martin, Zeke etc.

We actually have a really impressive list of UDFAs that have played huge roles on the team over the years after developing.

Side note - it is a shame that D.C. didnt work out as it definitely looked like he had strong potential.

I think Alexander hit it on the head with his comment, Garrett just wanted to run the old nineties offense with two TE's and could not see the potential in Danny Coale. I understand he suffered similar cuts with the Steelers and Indy. This guy could play but we did not have an Offensive Coord that was flexible enough to use his talent.

My "random", meaning players that really have not entered my radar that much, mainly because I have not seen a link to Dallas.

Ethan Pocic - He might be a good pick for a team wanting a player who could back up at 3 positions. That is a plus with OL.
Alex Anzalone - If somebody wants a Kiko Alonso clone, here you go.
Isaac Asiata - Big strong powerful guard you can make a 10 year starter out of. Well schooled like all the Utah linemen.
Vince Biegel - Will make some team happy. Fits that "football player" mold.
Harvey Langi - The type of DL/LB/Utility that Belichick gets all the time.
Ryan Switzer - Want a slot WR? Grab him.
Samson Ebukam - Will go no later than the 4th. Has the workout warrior profile that teams fall in love with. Plus he hustles.
Steve Tu'ikolovatu - Plug and play big dude for NT. If I run a 3-4 and need an anchor, he is a bargain on Day 3.
Joe Williams - If his head is right, he is the kind of late round back who makes a GM look smart.
Mack Hollins - Not a great WR. Just a core type of player that makes Pro Bowls on STs as a coverage player.
Jamal Carter - Good simple safety that you see hang around the league for a while. Will never be that dynamic player you want but can hit and tackle.
Josh Carraway - Good enough rusher, don't understand why so little attention.
Connor Harris - Might end up at FB. Special teams all the way.
Blake Jarwin - Kind of player that makes a career being the 2nd or 3rd TE on someone's roster for a long time.
Hollins can be more then just special teams. You mentioned Switzer but Bug Howard was another Carolina receiver I would take
