His mind is preoccupied, and for good reason. That's could ultimately ruin him with endorsements. Can you imagine knowing you're innocent, and the chick who said she'd ruin your life actually could accomplish that? Talk about dealing with a lot on your mind.

Have a buddy fighting for his freedom being falsely accused of rape. She's only doing it because her bf found out and he's a U.S. Marshall. It's sad that his family has had to spend 60k on a defense attorney. We were there the night it went down, now we wait for the trial. She has no idea that we have the texts she sent him before it went down. Also when he was assigned a PD there was a gal he went to HS who worked in the office with direct knowledge of the case. She actually helped try and build the case against him, because of an old HS romance and rejection. She quit shortly after and has no idea the his attorney has all that info as well.

These things are bad, I keep thinking back to that Banks kid and Duke Team. People act like these girls can't/won't falsely accuse someone of a heinous crime like rape or DV. Dealing what we've dealt with for almost a year has really jaded me to this stuff.

Sorry to hear that about your friend. I think its a travesty that our society lets women extort money using false charges. Your entire reputation is screwed when someone accuses you of something you didn't do.

I Zeke's case I'm sure he's thinking I helped her get her car and paid her rent and treated her nicely. And this is how she repays me? That is probably what is weighing heavily in his mind and thus he seems quiet and withdrawn.

As a team mate of the Cowboys, it would best if the team came to him and console him thru this ordeal. If your really a true teammate, you would see right this all this crap and stick sit and talk with him as a true brother would. The Cowboys players need to help the brother out and this is where they can show the world that as a team were still sticking together.

Sorry about your friend. The false accusations are a small fraction of the real ones but something needs to be done.

This is much less heinous than what happened to your friend but an Army Colonel was aqcused of rape and countersued. In court he proved that not only were the accusations false but it was physically impossible for them to have happened. The jury awarded him 8.4 Million in damages:

Yep he will be counter suing as well. I can't devulge all the info for obvious reasons but yes it seems it would've been physically impossible for it to happen how she said it happened. We were there, and they went to breakfast the following morning and hung out more before she went home. The whole situation is disgusting.

I completely understand that false accusations are a small fraction, but the small fraction has severely impacted innocent people's lives, just as its impacted victims of actual crimes. Something needs to be done, but we can't be afraid to call ******** when it's ********. We aren't victim blaming we are saying you're a liar and the evidence points in that direction. I feel like society tiptoes around that conversation a lot in life. Like I said I'm jaded by it now

Completely agree, and maybe they were just caught up in the game. Maybe they are totally supportive outside of live football. Sometimes things aren't as they appear. I'm willing to be they completely support him. Dez was pretty vocal about him being there week 1. I'm sure they all are avoiding the topic as to not say anything that can hurt Zeke unintentionally.

I saw this in the morning and it cracked me up. Sean Lee doesn't have time for any of that nonsense...he needs to hurry back to watch film.

That would suck but if he is smart with his money from this contract alone he'll be alright. Definitely hurts missing all the endorsement dough he would be pulling in. He can salvage his image by following the witten model from here on out.
