I've discussed most of this before but WTH.

How often do you see us using the following formations:

1) 1RB 2WR 2TE
2) 1RB 3WR 1TE
3) 1RB 1FB 2WR 1TE

Do you think given our talent at RB and TE we may use a 3WR set less often than we have in the past and fewer than most teams?

Do you think the 2WR 2TE set could be an effective formation on 3rd down passing situations? If so what might the cut-off be? 3rd and 6, 3rd and 8?

Do you think Barber will be used with Jones in some type of FB role? How often?

Do you think Jones will lead the RB's in receptions or carries?

I guess you see us using specialty packages like 4WR or 3TE 15% of the time?

Yes, our TEs are probably more effective then our WRs so we won't go 4 WR very often IMO

This thought has crossed my mind and I wouldn't be surprised to see it.

The problem with this as I see it is that it does not quite spread the defense out both horizontally or vertically as much as you'd like.

I know we'll see Bennett and Jones lined up as a WR at times. I'm just not sure they will function as well if they're the 2nd WR.

I'm no expert here. But I thought Bennett or Jones going in motion and lining up as a 3rd WR is what would draw the match-up problem with a safety or even a LB.

The wishbone has little strategic value because of the speed of defensive personnel. 3 DBs playing man will key on their assigned RB

I wasn't serious.

But I find it interesting that the wishbone does put our best players on the field.
