- Defense, my god.

- Offense, ehhh. Weather probably played a part.

- Dak, ehhh. He was off but on flipside I can't think of one throw that made me think, "what a stupid *** throw that should have been picked."

- Surprised they used Turpin as much as they did and not Vaughn in some of those situations.

- Tyron can still play. As long as he can stay healthy. Big if.

- Mazi looked OK. Not awesome, but a few times I saw him push the OL back into the QB.

- Bell was pretty impressive for his first real consistent PT in that hybrid S/LB role.

- Catch the freaking ball TEs.

- Dowdle was pretty impressive. If he keeps this up, I wouldn't mind getting him more carries to keep Pollard fresh (but on the flipside, that would hurt my fantasy team as I have Pollard, so dilemma).

- Giants are not ready for the big time. Despite their playoff appearance last year and the offseason hype, they got a long way to go.

- Along those lines, nice win Commanders. But it was AZ. Commanders aren't that good.

- Something to keep eye on. Two new coordinators in Philly and frankly neither did a bang up job yesterday. Philly's offense looked blah, defense got picked on by Mac Jones at times.

- That 4th down call late in game by Sirianni was monumentally stupid. Win or lose, if McCarthy pulled a stunt like that, he'd rightfully get crucified here.

If this defense continues, Jerry will not be paying Dak $60 million a season.

Gotta say, there isn't one point you made with which I disagree. The closer to the top of list, the more I agree, especially the part about using Deuce instead of Turpin at times.

Defense will be and is feared.

Offense is more like, "just don't screw this up."
That’s now. It’s gonna come a week possibly next week where the quarterback and offense is better and we are going to need our offense to put up points. Defense snd special teams won’t do it every week.

I'm sure Cowboys taking notes on that Patriots game. We have a much better defense, and their defense held them in the game and may have even won if not for Zeke's fumble.

They really gave New England every chance to win the game. Very questionable calls, they deserved to lose because of that.

By the way, that game also featured one of the worst hold calls I think I have ever seen in a NFL game. They called the Pats for a hold and the replay showed the guy barely even touched the guy let alone held him. They must have called the wrong number, that's how bad it was.

Dont know if it was the footing but when Deuce was in the game he didnt look particular explosive agsinst there ones. At his size, he will have to be.

Hurts was so-so. Burrow was so-so. Dak was so-so. One theme? All played in ****** weather.
Agreed, there’s a reason why back in the day the mud and bad weather days we all love we’re also mostly grind it out on the ground, low scoring affairs.

I think weather really affected all 3.

I think daks stats would be a lot better had the tes not dropped tds or other passes. He played the kind of game you want, especially the way our defense was playing and the rain.

same. except fantasy football taking any precedence over real life results lol

We may have a better offense too. I watched that game and I don't think Philly had a first down in the second quarter and had negative passing yards.

Maybe the Pats defence is legit, but MAC jones had double Hurts passing yarage
