Cedric Wilson's pass was really impressive.
Not only was it impressive for being a WR...but the idea that he escaped a tackle for loss, was on the run to the other side of the field and threw a beautiful spiral that turned out to be an absolute dime to CeeDee. Very impressive.

Randy Gregory got screwed on that one roughing the passer penalty. That was some baby back bull. But he made up for it later by getting a sack when it was needed...surprised the refs did not make some crappy call on that play as well.

Micah Parsons. I know some were upset that they moved him from DE and thought he was not making plays at LB. However he came back with a vengeance last night and was making plays all over the field.

Chuancey Golston - he might not be tearing it up but he has been in the mix. Seems like he was either making tackles last night or in the mix for it. For a guy most thought was an ok pick at best he has been decent for us.

Greg the Leg they need to start calling him Greg the Maybe. Guy is wearing me out.

Not being mentioned much but Bryan Anger is doing nice. I think he had a 45+ average last night.

Connor Williams seems to be penciled in for at least one hold per game, if not more. I remember when Witten would always get a hold, difference is Witten was a much better player. One other thing about Williams and I don't know how many people noticed it. When Xavier had the strip sack fumble...if you noticed the ball rolled in front of Connor and he looked like he looked at it but kept going to block instead of falling on it until it was too late. Kind of a weird play.

Biadasz catch and lateral was really funny. Those are the plays you just to see on the old football follies tapes, for those old enough to remember those.

Feel bad for Bradley Anae. I think this guy can help the team as rotation but that was a terrible time for a penalty.

Jabril Cox - guy has quietly been having a pretty good season. Hope the injury does not take him out for the rest of the year.

Amari Cooper - some give this guy grief but he really is a warrior. I think some may have missed it but on the last sounds of the game video (vs NE) the guys on the sideline are talking about Coop playing through a myriad of injuries. He had two HUGE plays. That crazy bobbling catch and the TD to seal the deal. He reached overtop the defender and snatched the ball for the TD.

I’ve been impressed by Cedric Wilson too. Even going back to last year. Little known trivia on him is that he actually has passing 2 TDs in the NFL and was a former high school QB who led his HS team to the state semi finals. And Wilson is a playmaker. Great open field moves.

Who couldn’t be impressed with the young rookie defenders we’ve added? Parsons, Golston, Osa…they are making waves early and often.

Micah Parsons. I know some were upset that they moved him from DE and thought he was not making plays at LB. However he came back with a vengeance last night and was making plays all over the field.

Would love to know how many yards (and probably points) Parsons saved last night by stringing out the wide plays to boundaries and shutting them down before the Vikes could turn the corner for big yards. Seemed like the running yards the Vikes got were between the tackles.

Agree with most of what you said

We need to get ready to lose both Gallup and Wilson in the off season. Wilson will get paid

I think to make Micah Parsons a full time DE would be a terrible idea. He needs to play every position between edge and ILB depending on the defense call and situation. The defense needs to account for him every single play and not get accustomed to any one thing.

Those solo tackles were vintage Sean Lee, and Parsons is probably a better pressure player than Lee (Lee being better in coverage).

.
He's been so quiet that he has played 9 snaps on defense all year. He's been playing a lot on ST, but he has 2 tackles all year. Strange definition of a pretty good season.

I was watching a video earlier in the year about C. Wilson. (I call him C-Dub ). He said he played QB in his past but one day just randomly asked his coach to play WR and that was pretty much the end of his QB days. Point of that is, I love what this coaching staff is doing by highlighting players skills, outside of their traditional skill sets and mixing it up to keep the opponent guessing. It is effective and fun to watch!

Haha thanks; I was super excited/high on Cox. I think he has the potential to be an excellent coverage LB, but I really haven't seen him play other than a couple of snaps and that tackle on Danny Dimes a few weeks ago.

My Random Thoughts too:

OFFENSE:
QB
- Cooper Rush stepped in and stepped it up big time, when many and most doubts and naysays against him; huge TD plays to Wilson, Cooper. Took on a wicked blitz hit by Xavier Woods but still held up
Never expected Rush would be deliver game win pass. Much less passing for 324 yds and 2 TDs. Made more good plays than bad,,,rallied his troop from behind, and delivered his biggest passes
when it matter most.
RB
– Cowboys run game not as productive as thought it’d be vs one of the worst run defenses in Vikes. Pollard whiffed a blitz block and wicked QB sack by Xavier Woods.
But Tony-Tiger had two leg churning key 3rd and short runs,
- Zeke made a huge clutch Tazmanian Devil bull- run thru 4 tacklers on an 11 yard pass to gain a critical 1st down. His blitz-blocking was invaluable.
TE – Not quite as impactful as Dak in game, and Vikes really played that roll out with tight coverage.

OL – For most part OL unit gave Rush adequate time to survey quick throws and occasional deep shots, Tyron departed and Nyseke struggled early on b4 settling just enuff
Vikes' Danielle Hunter departed game with injury, so it made life easier for Steele. CW yet another holding flag, Tyler juggled a pass to Schultz.
Overall run lanes were not there.
WR
- Lamb along with Coop, had 100+ yard very productive catch day, luckily his 3rd down drop didn’t haunt us.
- Cooper fought thru a hammy injury for two huge plays including a juggler, and eventually a game winner. Gutty work.
- Ceddy Will has been really ballin’ and making game changing plays in every game since he’s been subbing for Gallup.
- I wouldn’t be surprised if Ceddy continues to start even when Gallup returns. Coaches may share the 3rd WR role

DEFENSE
– Unit continues to play fast and furious,
After their opening TD drive to a wide open Adam Thielan, the Vikes only scored FGs, and were an astounding 1 for 13 on 3rd downs
- Gregory remains flying around into backfield, sack-hurries, I wonder if Cousins were starting to get flustered by rushes. Consecutive sack games by RG.
- I thought Basham, Osa Watkins, Hamilton and Armstrong had solid games
- Cousin went to pushing ball downfield ..to dumping to mere FB Ham dump offs.
- Cowboys neutralize Davin Cook, normally a Cowboy killer.. only 78 yds on 18 carries- zero catches
- We even shutdown those once killer screen passes
- Parsons at his best when he’s facing and moving forward, side to side

- Cousin did miss wide open Jefferson vs fallen down Brown on what should’ve been an easy TD.
- Kearse gave up a big TE Conklin pass downfield but I didn’t see another big play vs him remaining of the game.

- Diggs had a couple of big plays against him, but was part of the reason why Vikes were forced off field after 3rd downs.
- Brown survive some deep shots, but Vikes could not take advantage of him overall.
- Lewis, Brown and even Donovan had big stops on 3rd downs

SPECIAL TEAMS
– Typical of Greg Z, he’ll miss a bizarre WTH field goal kick, but he’ll follow up with a key FG. Anae killer offside gave life again to Vikes that led to 3 point FG.
- Punter Anger continues to have more big production games. He’s a factor in field positions.
- Lamb dodge a mishaps punt return instead of fair catch or let ball out-bounds, coverage was solid.

COACHES -
I thought this Vikes game was best coached Mike-McCarthy game this year.
He rode the officials, he rode his own players per mistake penalties, He was there to calm and re-compose his players
He had to have had a hand in helping prepare Cooper Rush- Off a bye week, and On The Road into a rumbling very loud hostile noise Vikes stadium,
yet the Cowboys were not rattled.
Unlike Garrett regime, this team seems both better prepared for a game, makes halftime adjustment and adjusts on the run

- Hulk -Wishbone formation ? With 2 OL guys in same backfield with RB ? Typical Kellen, constantly trying to give Defenses exotic, different various looks
- Add on Ceddy Wilson reverse run pass to Lamb. This clearly further shows, Kellen is not being as conservative On The Road, as he was his first year as OC.
Whether Dak or Rush, we’re continuing to be aggressive at home or On the Road.

- Speaking of Cooper Rush he seemed very well prepared. And they manage to keep him calm/composed after INT and incompletions.- and again, even on a loud vIkes ome crowd.

- Kudos for Quinn's D" unit. Allowed big plays early in Vikes first TD drive, but Defense successfully got Vikes loaded star-studded offense off the field 1 of 13 3rd down attempts
when it mattered. And did not need turnovers and sacks to do so.
Held Cousins to 184 yds, ...Cook to 78 yrd rushing/zero catches- and WR Justin Jefferson to a mere 2 catches for only 21 yards,
