Atmosphere:

* The noise was incredible for the entire game. Nice to see there were no flase starts (or 1 maybe). The entire stadium stood for the whole game.

*I would say 20-25% of the fans were Cowboy fans. We represented big time.

*Buffalo fans for the most part were OK. There was a a couple of fights, but usually if you were respectable you were fine.

The Game:

*Romo-Not going to spend too much time on the picks. We ran a very basic sets and offense tonight. TO was NOT moved around too much and wasn't used in the slot much. Romo looked his best when moving on roll outs. Give him credit for staying with it as bad as it was.

*Oline gets an A for pass blocking. The OT's did a great job handling the ends and multiple blitzes and stunts. However, this group gets a C- for run blocking. Very few holes and Kosier seemed to really struggle tonight.

* Huge/Huge/Huge play by Ware to get the tip and Newman for the pick.

*The last 6 minutes of that game had more twists and turns than this 34 year old body could handle. I thought the game was over after the review and over turning of the Owens catch. I did not realize they put the time back on the clock. Then seeing them complete 2 passes and great calls by the way by Garrett was amazing.

* The timeout rule is ridiculous. Folk's first game winning kick would have been good from 60 yards, the second about 57 I'd say.

*FB Anderson had a nice game catching some balls out of the backfield.

*Spencer is the real deal!!!

This was the best Birthday ever.......crazy crazy crazy crazy night!

Happy Bday CBF.

I have to agree with all of that and especially about Spencer. He look like he is all of that and a bag of chips.

This is well in line with my theory of the Cowboys expecting to win this game with basic play calling and acute execution......Though it will never be admitted, the Cowboys didn't prepare for this game, because they spent the last two weeks preparing for the Patriots......IMO

Speaking of our first round draft pick, Anthony Spencer, the kid is looking better and better with each game. Not only is this kid getting consistant pressure on the QB, he's playing the run extremely well.

I remember during training camp and preseason, some media members were pointing out that Spencer, until the training wheels come off, was going to struggle against the run, and only really contribute on passing situations.

Oops! Guess Anthony is coming along a little quicker than anticipated. :)

Spencer is really a great rookie, he is strong and fast and apparently smart enough to make this transition to OLB.

I do not think he will ever been on the same level as D. Ware but they seem to compliment each other well so far and it will only get better.

D. Ware has a quickness about him that amazes me, we all know he is a freak athlete however the more impressive thing I have seen is that man can go from zero to 100 in a few steps and looks more like a gigantic corner back with his foot speed sometimes.

Did Ellis even play last night?

ITs funny I asked doctor32 the same thing while watching the game.

Jason hatcher had a ton of snaps last night and he played great. I hope that continues.

I think ellis played in the goaline stuff and for some reason less in the nickle they were running last night.

Spencer had an amazing game. Ware, James and Spencer are really pulling their weight. Good defensive showing last night - 3 points.

Ellis was in on the stop on the 4th down play. I think it went un-credited, but I haven't looked at the play-by-play yet.

COWBOYS DEFENSE = GOOD LAST NIGHT ON THE ROAD

Oh and we really miss Davis on ST. Although I missed the play as I was in the pisser.

Well, as BP would say, that was some of Spencers work. HIm and Cricket really left that hole open!

I was in the cheap seats last night. Looked like about 50% Cowboys fans. What a game to be at.

The one thing about the timeout rule is that not only should teams know it's coming, but I really believe that you should have a better chance of making the second one because the first one is essentially a practice kick. If you make it, you know that the same swing will work again. If you miss it, now you know that you have to make an adjustment.
