If running inside the 2 is so easy how come we didnt make when we tried it.

We only ran it once. You have to stay with a running game to make it work. Every run won't succeed, but you don't give up on it. At least good teams don't.

They run up the gut, it gets stuffed.
They run wide, it gets blown up.
They pass, it's incomplete.
They get cute, it doesn't work.

I know it's easy to just blame the play calling, because it puts all the focus on Garrett (which you seem to like). But it's a combination of a lot of things. The OL doesn't block well at all inside the 5. Dez can't get off the jam. MB just floats around. And yes, the play calling - or maybe more appropriate, the play design, is questionable. But when nothing seems to work, it's not just the play calling.

Last time I checked, Murray had almost 140 yards rushing today. Your post fails.

Sometimes it's poor execution, sometimes it's our OC giving up on the run when it doesn't work every time. I've seen this movie over and over the last 3-4 years.

Most of his yards were between the 20's. This is about what happens in THE RED ZONE!! And we tried to run Murray near the goal line more than once. Nice memory.

Fail this.

Which is another testament to how big of a mistake it was to cut Gurode prior to the season.

I'm feeling you on 2 & 4. I thought our entire team would get better as the season wore on. The D started out on level 6 on their way to a 10. Now they are at level 3. The offense started out at level 5 and they are at a 6. But, it's hard to gauge with the injuries on both sides of the ball keeping the lineup in fluctuation. But I believe the O line should get better with some good coaching (if we have any).

Not on the first and goal from the 1/2 yard line we didn't. You might want to check to see if you have Dementia setting in.

Want to guess how many times we've called an A or B gap run inside the ten yard line this season? I can almost gurantee any guess you make will be too high.
