In no particular order are thoughts I have had throughout the season about the Cowboys and their future.

  • Are we the worst team ever at running receiver screens? Other teams do it so well & we always seem to get minimal or no gain. Is it because our receivers are terrible blockers? Seems so to me.
  • The reps young players are getting this year may prove to be invaluable. Wish Diggs hadn't gotten hurt.
  • I have to admit I may have been wrong about Noah Brown. He has done nothing but impress me this year. Gets open and then gets YAC. Kudos to him for overcoming all the flaws of this organization to show his worth.
  • I have no idea if we have a Kicker or not. Up until last night I would have said yeah.
  • Would you try to retain Jourdan Lewis? Just from the broadcast, I thought he played pretty well. Does another offseason in this system get him comfortable again?
  • X Woods is a player I definitely move on from.
  • Gregory, Hill, Gallimore, Lawrence. Is there anyone else you definitely want back from the Dline?
  • Upcoming draft is going to be crazy. How do you evaluate and rank players that opted out or whose conferences didn't play? Going to drive teams crazy. Some teams are going to get a steal and some are going to regret their picks.
  • If we were to finish with a top 5 pick and wanted to trade back, its possible you could have 5 picks in the top 75 -100. You should be able to really remake some areas of this team.
  • I think Moore is doing fine as OC. I still wish they would run a flea flicker since the defenses always key on our run game.
  • Say what you will but I commend MM for getting the team fully on board with tanking. I mean he has Lamb dropping TD's, Zuerlein missing and the D has completely bought in. That's team unity.

What bothered me was that they would be running well and then stop and pass nonstop. And Dalton was not throwing the ball well at all. There's no excuse. There was some pressure, but the O line actually did a solid job considering how good Baltimore is. Too many bad throws.

Back to the run game, again Pollard can get a good run here or there, but it was clearly obvious he's not challenging Elliott. Pollard and Elliott got twice the carries from the last game and Elliott ran well and Pollard couldn't. He had his typical couple carries and the rest was running into a wall.
I have no idea why this franchise, year after year, doesn't keep running down their throats.
