Randy Galloway on Quan Cosby

I am listening to the local sports guys who are interviewing Quan Cosby. Apparently Randy Galloway was on the Ticket in Dallas and said that his source with the Cowboys told him that Quan failed a physical in Dallas.

Quan was on to clarify this and he is saying that he doesn't know what this is about.

I had not heard this news since I don't listen to the Ticket. Even if I did I wouldn't listen to Galloway. I find him annoying. Now the local guys are going on to blast Jerry because of this yet this is all speculation fueled by Galloway. Some source? That kind of stuff always cracks me up.

Maybe the Cowboys just didn't want Quan. He is older than most rookies because of his stint in minor league baseball. I agree though, I get tired of the Jerry bashing!

i listened to the galloway show on 103.3 podcast where galloway talked about cowboys draft, etc, but i didnt hear quans name come up

its interesting, i wrote a sports announcer that knows quan pretty well, and waiting to see what he thinks or heard

That he's 5'7" and doesn't get good separation is probably good enough reason.

IMO Quan would have had trouble getting off press coverage. Drafting him in the 7th as a returner, wouldnt have hurt though.

i talked to an sports broadcaster, and he said its most likely a false report , because galloway never reports anything false, and he said the same thing, why would he be on theticket or wherever and not his own show, etc

i don't buy the separation argument. Malcolm Jenkins was a top 15 pick and quan schooled him to the tune of 14 catches in the fiesta bowl. you don't do that if you're slow or can't get separation.

Quan Cosby was an injury risk(red flag-Cowboys doctors failed him I believe) according to Nick Eatman on the Lunchbreak yesterday.

1. He measured at 5'9 and a half...but yea he is short...so is Steve Smith and Hines Ward

2. Malcolm Jenkins was a first round pick at CB, and most of Quan's 15 catches 171 yards and 2 Tds in the Fiesta Bowl came against Jenkins. Cosby got plenty of "separation" against supposedly "the best CB in the draft". Actually, he took Jenkins to school.
