Every town has a few of these types of sportswriters. Dallas has many. You have to realize that the more hate these guys spew, the higher the ratings they get, and the more people read their stuff.

Its no coincidence that the biggest haters get all the radio shows. Galloway, Hanson, JFE. Its flat out sells, and it lines the pockets of these guys. You realize how much a Galloway or Hanson make when they get radio shows? We're talking about big bucks here. And its all "extra" meaning it doesn't interfere with their Newspaper work.

Shock/Hate, always sells. Ask Howard Stern or Rush Limbaugh. Nobody wants to read articles or listen to the radio of guys who are homers.

You just have to take it all with a grain of salt thats all.

Great thought, but you have to look at it factually. Galloway would probably know if he pisses in his own pants, or wears depends unless he has advanced Altzheimer's. He might not realize he smells like urine, even if he smells like urine, because he might be used to the smell. Therefore, he may not know why others call him Grandpa Urine, even if he is aware they call him that.

That is why I have reiterated my query here in this forum, where others call him "Grandpa Urine". I think if you have a question, it is logical to go directly to the source to pose the query. :laugh2:

KTCK's Gordon Keith gave him the nickname during his impression of him. I always assumed they gave him the nickname because he's old and he has a penchant for drunkenly wetting his pants. Former KTCK afternoon personality Greg Williams used to work under him and WBAP, and evidently Galloway was fond of a cocktail or 12.

big market media is always just in it for headlines. it doesnt matter what it is. just like NY media bash every ny team when they're down, and LA did the same to the raiders and do the same to the dodgers. they try to make their own storys, and people eat it up. just like rght now and the cowboys situation.
