Well, he'll be up against a backup LT named Bushrod, so that might help. What won't help is that Brees reads defenses quickly and lets the ball fly quickly. The real area that the defense needs to shine is against the run and making quick, sure tackles against the receivers. They won't be getting to Brees very often, IMO, but they can make him take the check down passes if they get pressure.

He had 3 sacks in 4 games and creating a ton of pressure. He is slowly coming along but I also think he will finally have a monster game.

Gregory has been great recently, very disruptive, but Breeze has the quickest release in the league, we need to jam receivers, disrupt their patterns & stop the run. Oh, and be in 4 down mentality every offensive drive.

Instead, Garrett will try to keep the loss at a manageable level hoping that Payton will have mercy and when that fails, finally go no huddle during garbage-time to pad the loss.

He’s from Indy or at least went to high school there. I think that’ll be his breakout game. And that will be a big game for the playoff push.

We'll finish 9-7 at worst and possibly 10-6 if we win tonight.

I think Philly is 8-8 and I have no idea where Washington finishes but they look done.

Bushrod was a starter up to last year, albeit at RG, but for the majority of his career he's been a starting LT.

Agree with the back 7 being on a swivel to either prevent yac and stop Ingram/Karama

I do hope someone besides Lawerence had "that" type of game. Don't get me wrong I think everyone has played well to this point, but you know what I'm talking about. Could really use that. If it is Gregory great, or Crawford, Collins, Woods.. All of them would work as well lol

We need pressure with the front 4 without losing control of the edge. Stop the run and get pressure up the middle so Brees is running sideways not stepping up.

Brees has been sacked once in the last five games. Bushrod has started the last two. I'm hoping for some disruption, but definitely not expecting a lot in the way of sacks tonight.

Would be great for Gregory to have a big game. The last 3 weeks he has been playing better it seems. Getting to the QB more than the 1st 8 games.
If the focus on DLaw, it could open things up for Randy. As well Jaylon too on blitzes. Which they seemed to have got away from. At the start of the season, Jaylon talked about how he loved the idea of blitzing him more. And they did, but lately, unless I missed it. They have not done that.

If our secondary and LB's cover those receivers for that one second longer, make Brees hold that ball, then the DL can get to him, or force a bad throw, if not a sack.
