Moving everyone to the back 3rd and opening the hatches on the front hull partial walls would have given them a few more hours and possibly enough time for help to arrive.
Just rearranging the seating in the lifeboats would have resulted in about 2x the number of survivors.
And if Gregory and the Titanic would have taken their issue head on, maybe both would have been saved......I know those on the Titanic would have.....
