Notice the so-called standard weigh for DE at 260lb+.......Randy came in at 242. While he doesn't have to put on as much Spence it's still next to impossible to gain 18-20lb during the season. My point is he'll need a full offseason of working with a trainer/nutritionist to his required weight the right way.

The Buccaneers wanted defensive end Noah Spenceto gain weight this offseason. Mission accomplished.

Spence says he has gone from 228 pounds a year ago — tiny by NFL defensive end standards — to 263 now.

“Today was the heaviest I’ve ever been and I felt great. I was 263 today,” Spence told Jenna Laine of ESPN. “I kind of just started playing with it [in the offseason] to see what works. I felt like if I just don’t stop eating or drinking, I won’t lose weight.

Everyone at camp has said that Randy looks good. Bigger in the upper body. Fish is even saying he looks more like 255-265 than the 242 that Garrett claimed. Plus, Marinelli likes these guys lean.

Nate was saying when camp started he saw Gregory working over by himself and didnt recognize him
the weight was added in his upperbody
anyway, more than one person has said that Randy is surprisingly strong for his weight

Yeah he looked very thin in the lower body in that punching bag video, He may be a lot of muscle but he does not have a ton of mass

How much did Haley weigh?

Haley was a HOF talent though. I hope Gregory is too, but I doubt it. Nevertheless, we don’t yet know how much weight he can gain and be effective, so we need to let it play out. And regardless of adding weight, he’s certainly big enough to have an impact as a situational pass rusher. Let’s hope he has the ability

Gregory is what bad teams are built on. I am not counting on him for anything but distractions.

I'm curious as to why this wasn't something he was doing while suspended? I get that he can't play for the Cowboys but surely this was recommended to him?
