Dumbest thread of the day. They've already said his snaps are limited as he works back.

The defense gave up 13 points. 13. Teams are going to have drives throughout the course of a game, but the defense stopped Seattle ALL DAY. The offense is to blame for this one.

Agree. Sure Seattle is tough, but No TD's did us in...

Did he have any snaps?

I honestly don't recall him being in the game at all.

He doesn't show up on the stat line.

I said as much in chat but was reminded that the Seahawks were not the same team as a year ago and how the defense missed tackle after tackle. This sits squarely on the offense and Garrett not having the gonads to go for it near the goal line on 4th down. Someone said if he had of went for it and failed that we would have been mad the he tried. I say bullcrap at that! Your teams defense is ballin and you are on a 4 game losing streak, at home and you are playing with a backup qb you try to score td's when that close not lay up with a 3. Just my opinion.

Infatuation with Greg Hardy?

Where else has the pressure come from?

You put Hardy at 3 tech and you take away half of his ability to do what he is capable of when having space on the outside as a DE.

No shot am I sitting Hardy so you can see Gregory get more snaps.

Tell Gregory to put on some size so he can play the run and also ask him why he can't get Lawrence off the field who needs to pull his pants up anyways?

Need to see Gregory and our 4 best pass rushers on 3rd and 10?

Ok, Gregory - Mincey - Crawford - Hardy.

Mincey will even tell you he loves it inside.

Defense was what kept us in the game. Be please with what you saw.

I think rookie pass rushers rarely do much anyway. I don't think we should expect a ton from Gregory this year, but next year or the year after, he might be a beast.

Remember the play in the Giants game when Eli threw the ball at the ground and almost bounced it off our guy's foot? That was Randy up in Eli's face forcing the bad throw. I know in his interview after the Giants game he said his pre-planned snap count was 8.

Hey, lets not be too hard on the rook, Gregory. Plenty of time to develop, and its not his fault he's another Cowboys prospect that was way overhyped. More Jerry propaganda for media and fan consumption.

Anybody that has had a high ankle sprain/fracture knows you can't put any weight on that leg at all. I'm surprised he came back so soon.

Plus Seattle would've been deep in their own territory if we failed.

Yup-just like last week ludicrous to even mention the defense as being any kind of problem.

I am one that wasn't all that impressed with the defense yesterday. I thought they played much better last week. They played against the worst offense they have faced all season, one that had given up 31 sacks (over 4 per game) and could not get one. Most of the time they could barely muster any pressure. They only gave up 13 points, but watching the game, it seemed like most of the drives stalled because of Wilson's inability to hit his receivers (or a drop) than anything the Cowboys did. Outside of Hardy's interception, they seemed to just being simply playing a bad offensive team rather than doing anything to write home about.

The only thing I'd be changing is putting Jeremy Mincey inside more and split Gregory/D-Law some. I do agree that our defense wasn't as impressive as Seattle's offense was just bad, but Greg Hardy was the only defensive player that kind of stood out because at least he hit Russell Wilson a few times and came up with the pick. I think the most important move for the team's future is to resign Hardy when we can, because he's the only player this year that flat out looks like a game changing star (obviously Romo and Dez are too.)

Yeah don't get me wrong the defense played good enough to win but with Okung out on a offensive line unit that leads the league in giving up sacks......I expected more. But it seemed like they were having Russell get the football out a lot quicker than he usually does.

I understand last week being his first game back.....So I gave him a pass. This week different story. What the hell is Marinelli doing to this kid? How many snaps did he get 6? maybe 8? This infatuation w/ Greg Hardy has got to stop. Get your 4 best players on the D-line...and get going. I've yet to see this lineup...

LDE- D-Law

3Tec-Hardy

DT- Crawford

RDE Gregory

I think we have seen just about every other abomination he can trot out there....but not the speed package that was supposed to be the difference in this defense. I'm just about fed up w/ Marinelli and his vanilla defenses. Let's not forget this is the same coach that had the only winless team in NFL history. I'm starting to think the game has passed the old guy....or teams have figured out his scheme. Something isn't right. People are gonna say....we only gave up 13 pts.....But we couldn't stop Seattle when it counted. We let them march right down the field....sitting in that 4-2-5. zone scheme....playing not to lose. :banghead:

Playing not to lose will kill you every time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
