Randy Gregory Time!

I'm pretty patient and naive so I've been on the roller coaster because I wrote him off last month as well. The unique position we're in with him being cleared now and for this stretch forced my hand though.

Many wrote him off knowing his 3rd failed test would lead to missing most of the 2016 season. The mood here wasn't very good after his 3rd failed test and Romo going down, knowing it could mean another bad season. Now that we're the NFC East champs and in prime position to make a strong SB run and Gregory is cleared to play it has many seeing him in a different light now. This season has gone so well many now are in a forgiving mood knowing Gregory is returning and can play. The attitude I have is he's still part of the team and is a resource at a position of need we might as well put to use.

I'm not expecting much from him with all the time he's missed but he's a fresh body that can be used as part of our rotation and that alone could be helpful. Regardless how put off the organization is by Gregory's three failed drug tests they see an opportunity to get at least something out of him before they move on. If he can help us in any way during the playoffs at least Jerry will have something he can hang his hat on, making that 2nd round pick we used on him not appear as wasted as it has been.

I'm guessing you imagined your life would have turned out better than this?
Guess again. I could brag, but that would be such a d-bag move. On par with using a semi-prestigious college's name as a handle on the internet in an effort to garner some sort of badly need attention.

I hope you fill the void.

(Not really you deserve your circumstance)
;)

I had a run in with a tumbleweed once......
When in Amarillo....they have tumbleweed warnings.....travel on I-40, and it is always windy there, then when the tumbleweeds start blowing across the highway...be careful....

Trying to avoid them like 1000 dodge balls coming at you. Once one got stuck on my windshield of my truck. I pulled over to get it off, just as I slowed up, the wind took it off. But while driving at 60 MPH, it stayed stuck.

That one had to have had a really high moisture content in it or something, cuz every time I've hit them at speed they come unglued like one of those post aapocalypse vehicles in a mad max movie.

I think Gregory will show flashes tonight, he will be better than Mayowa has been and better than his snaps last year. Not a game changer, but fun to watch.

I think the big issue is we only have two true DTs that are healthy at the moment. We are going to need Irving and Jack Crawford to play a lot of reps in this game and we are going to need them to play well.

Excited as well but let's temper our expectations and let him get his game speed/stamina up.

He's fresh, bigger, stronger and healthy while everyone else is battered and dinged up. He should be running by guys tonight, I'm anxious to see if he can make a 2014 DLaw type impact.

I'm glad to have a fresh body back on the DL but I'm tempering expectations. I'd like to see him get that first career sack.

I wish him well. He hasn't played a real game in a year or so I keep that in mind.
Just no injuries and get some good snap counts and be ready for the play offs.

Listening to Broaddus on 105.3 The Fan...He said his office at The Star, he can overlook the practice field. He said that whether it was 100 degrees or 50, he saw Randy out there working hard on his craft. He reiterated that Randy is at 255lbs and that he is not expecting any kind of pitch count on him. He also stated that he expects Randy to play well.

I remember reading about Haley working out with him and mentoring him throughout his entire ordeal.

Dallas has done a good job of getting this kid ready. I'm excited to see him.
