Randy Gregory Update

I don't know. I have never perceived you that way. Maybe it is because sometimes you appear to think, use your head and sometimes, gasp, think that things are not pointing to this franchise righting itself and getting back to where it should be.
As far as our roster players go, I think Gregory improves us. Brother, if I didn't, I swear on the Good Book that I would be all over this guy

If I didn't know better, I would imagine you with a voodoo doll of weed, made to the likeness of Gregory, and you stabbing it every night after your prayers

I had one ........ but I walked in on your hero smoking it when he should have been on the practice field.

Truth hurts and you cannot polish a turd.
Listen, you say you are a "judger of stupid posts" right?

How about address any number of the previous posts where I explain why he is desirable? Let's get to debating him on his merits, not your fascination with demonizing him for weed and his cup of tea in the NFL

Mmkay?

Or am I a stupid poster not worthy of such time?

I think the DV thing should have been handled after the Ray Rice debacle. But it wasn't. It seemed to ebb and flow with public opinion to the state it is now where the league just wants to negotiate instead of adjudicate. Just pathetic.

Ya. Except the league can't make policy without the union.

That takes time. Also, that's how CBAs work

He was drafted in 2015 (check current year) has played in 14 games failed 7 drug tests and broke his promise to the Cowboys.

What merits? His college stats? JaMarcus Russell was good in college too.
His college stats, yes. His extreme upside. His flashes in real games. His ability and desire to not smoke weed anymore. Yes.

We didn't know for sure Russell was a bum until he was a bum.

How many years do you give him? Russell had 3 ......... same as Gregory has already had.
This next season he has to flash or he's gone, for me.

With the league not changing it's marijuana policy anytime soon, I don't risk his roster spot after this season if he doesn't flash his upside. I want him w ~14 starts, 5-8 sacks, ~10 TFL, 2ff... and I prefer the bulk of those numbers in the second half of the season as he acclimates and gets into game shape.

If he is a dud, or a ~2 sack on ~9 starts (meaning, he isn't forcing his way onto the starting roster by mid-mid-late) season, I jettison him after 2018-19 and admit I was wrong.

But he gets every bit of this season. He can lay a big ol' stanley steamer in preseason, idc.

Go look at what Shohei Ohtani just did in preseason, and what all the writers and scouts were saying. And how he flipped them all for a loop, the whole baseball world. RG has elite ceiling like Ohtani.

Give the boy a chance. Let's see what he can do.

How many years do you give him? Russell had 3 to proof he was a bum ......... same as Gregory has already had.
And many thought Lawrence was a bum too. 14 games isn't enough time to tell eitherway. You can get some flashes or be like Tapper........ Who many still defend and only has 1 game.

I think every d-lineman on the team will improve when we get rid of rod. The man is an impediment to success. His schemes have failed for years.

Marinelli is good for one thing. Getting something out of nothing. When he does, then he is a genius.

But when you insist on continuing to do that, you deserve what you get.

The impediment to success is the idea that he can make miracles. I hate to say this, but I can't think of any great DC that did it by trying to mine talent instead of getting the talent.

It is almost like he creates his own job security. See what I can do with less? Who else is going to make chicken soup out of chicken ****?

This sounds like what you post when you wanna be right about your evaluation after the draft when we took Gregory.

Caring more about your take when he was drafted and never coming off it.

Sad.

The worst.
