Randy Gregory

Dlaw is still fighting for that monster contract. He's not coming off the field lol

The other side of the coin is why would you bring DLaw off the field? He is elite defending against the run and the pass and there are very few players who fall into both categories.

Fans love guys like Michael Bennett that can rush the passer but Dallas burned him for several big runs. DLaw has an entirely different overall game.

We need that second rusher who can take advantage of all the attention D-Law is drawing. Irving could EASILY be that dude, but he's just never available.
We should get him for that last 3 game stretch starting with the Colts. If we beat Washington and win those 3 games we are in and maybe could be dangerous.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for it. He's showing up more but game wrecking top of the draft I haven't seen yet.

The arrow is up though. If Taco flames out I hope he at least teaches Gregory his sack celebration before he leaves.

I want to see: DLaw-Irving-Crawford-Gregory

Forget schemes and whether a guy is this this or that. Just get the best pass rushers onto the field at the same time to see what happens

I'm all for keeping him on the field as long as possible. Although, I hope he isn't making his shoulder injury worse for the long term by playing through it for a bigger contract. Sounds like he will need surgery in the off season and probably should have done it last off season.

He's been away from football for such a long time it's going to take awhile, but I applaud his hard work keeping his head down hopefully he'll suffer no setbacks.
I said this too. And some overzealous fan got upset thinking Randy Gregory would take the league by storm the first game.
You just don't return from a year off and just dominate, unless you're Lawrence Taylor great.

It would be great for this defense to get back Irvin. But in addition to off the field issues, he has also proven to be injury prone. Going to be interesting to see what happens with him next season and whether or not he will still be a Dallas Cowboy.
I hope so.

They waited almost 2 years on Randy Gregory and he was in worst shape than Irvin.

Hope he plays next season

I really feel like he has finally got his feet under him again. I mean he has missed what two years. He is starting to come into his own which is great for us. We are deep at DE. Taco is hurt but now gregory is playing. Its was vice versa for two games. Crawford is making an impact. Armstrong gets pressure but doenst get home. He needs more time. Gregory and DLaw need to make sure they dont run into each other. I've seen them both get by their men looking like they are going to collide. That's a great duo to have.
I am betting he is smoking some exotic weed that has no THC in it to trigger a positive test.

This is allowed in cases where addiction is present and smoking is beneficial to manage Illness side effects.

You can get that stuff by prescription.

My buddy goes to Colorado all the time to get it

So we will see.

Hoping he is back for the Eagles game in December and available for the final 4 game stretch

Gregory is way better than Taco.
Put Taco in the oven and crisp him up.

I loved his sack celebration, but I am sort of semi surprised that he has only been able to use it once so far this season.

Put some robitussin on his wounds and let's see what he can do.

Taco may need to bulk up and move inside.

Shoutout to Gregory. He's had a couple of nice quiet games over the last couple of weeks, posting a sack in two consecutive games now.

Is he starting to turn the corner?

His speed is starting to show up
Yes, let's heap praise on a player for doing what normal other players do day in day out. Give him a participation ribbon.

He has been a disappointment

I dont think he will ever be a game wrecker at DE. He may get you 10 plus sacks but if you recall he was projected to play outside linebacker in the nfl, or play in a 3-4 scheme. Hes very similar to vic Beasley that plays for the falcons that had two sacks vs us. . If he played in that scheme he may get 20 sacks because he has the speed, length and quickness for the position. As a DE has to lineup different and has more responsibility vs the run. Where as a Right OLBs main responsibility is to get to the QB. Gregory can still probably get 10-15 sacks as a DE but I think he could reach 18-22 as an OLB he is that good he just doesnt have that body type

Cowboys could play Wade’s 3-4 and still kick ***.

OLB - Tank
ILB - Jaylon
ILB - LVE
OLB - Gregory

Lee & Armstrong can rotate

Irving, Crawford, Taco, Reid at DE

Maliek, Woods at NT

I like him.

And he smokes.

Which I do for pain management now that my doctor's stopped prescribing pain killers a couple of years ago.

So I see nothing but good things from him.

Of course it's a little foggy in here..

Still celebrating our win yesterday.

This is becoming a bigger and bigger story for the team.

Him, Vander Eche, Irvin, Jaylon, Heath, Lawrence and Awuzie and Byron Jones

are making teams account for this team defensively.

Big change.

for “Pain management “ :muttley: I bought Playboy for the articles.

Would be interesting to see how well Lawrence plays dropping back in coverage.

Yes.

Had a stroke 3 years ago and permanently disabled now.

Take 15 meds a day and the side effects are horrible.

Yes..pot smoking helps alot.

Stop being a creep with your little flash comments.

My prayers will be with you always. My brother passed with a 2nd stroke, and my son has had two...diabetics.

I read that early in the season, and maybe they still were. They limited his snaps to get him worked back in without over doing it. But with the injury to Taco he may be getting more snaps now. He should be ready to go more now and is showing it.

We often criticize this staff on things. But seems they are doing right with Gregory.

The staff and the Dallas FO has been a blessing to Randy all along.

Perhaps he's showing his gratitude by performing like he has lately.

RG is having a nice run of good games. Keep it up. I'm hoping this defense will be at full strength by the time the Saints come to town because they are the only chance this team has to win that game. Next up, the deadskins... another depleted team that will scratch and claw like a wounded animal to stay in this game the first half but our D should shut them down the second half and give our O a chance to put this game away. I'm looking for another good game from RG.

Glad to see him on the field this late into a season. Hopefully he continues to improve and pay dividends for all of the patience the FO has had with him.
