You think Tim Brown is better than TO for his career?:laugh1: indeed

When Moss retires he won't have the dignity and respect those receivers had. Stats only tell half of the story. Curtis Martin and Jerome Bettis have more rushing yards than Jim Brown are they better running backs than Brown. Not by a long shot.

The receivers I listed weren't in any order.

Did Larry Fitzgerald and Andre Johnson retire?

I would take Larry Fitzgerald or Andre Johnson 10 times out of 10 over Moss.

Pats opening a can on the Colts, so much for their perfect season. Colts done, their secondary in shambles.

That's not looking like such a great prediction at this point is it? :p

is the best WR in the game

Did Andre Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald decide to retire this morning? Also lets not forget about the WR who happened to catch the game winner last night, Reggie Wayne. That guy is pretty darn good as well.

I love Randy Moss as much as the next guy but he's the 3rd best WR in the NFL today.

Uh no. He's top 10 maybe but 2nd behind Rice. I don't think so.

Tough call there really. When he's done he'll likely be behind only Rice for what he's done on the field. It will be tough to say that makes him less than guys like Brown or Carter. I'd say by the time Moss is finished he'll be the second best WR to ever play.

Of course that's till some of these other guys finish up their careers and possibly wind up ahead of him.

I did retract a little bit later in this thread. I said he is top 10 right now. I think Moss is a great receiver no doubt but his time in Oakland and at the end in Minnesota really negate what he is doing now. If he somehow wins a Super Bowl and plays a big role in it my opinions my change.

Moss doesn't have a Superbowl ring and he has played on some better teams than what Dallas had since he came into the league. Dallas was not one player away from winning it all in 1998 and only became less talented over the years until Parcells came and got Dallas back on track. Moss would have brought some big plays, but the Cowboys were not going to be a great team with him. Quincy Carter would have still been the QB through much of Moss' possible tenure in Dallas.

He was really special in that Super Bowl win over the Giants.

Should have been a cowboy.Jerry really blew that one.Everytime i see Moss take one to the house i just cringe.

Should have been a Cowboy, twice. Don't forget the 1998 NFL Draft when we opted for that bum Greg Ellis.

Was he as "special" as Roy Williams was this past weekend against Green Bay?
