He was a trip! They were giving him a hard time about that smokeless nicotine and tobacco free snuff he sells. He was a blast! They asked him what he would do if he was the captain of a team with Haynesworth on it and what would he do: he said he would take him aside and have a talk with him and get inside his head; what he did not say but you could kind of get was that if that did not work he would make like a bongo on the idiots head. Said that Jason Garrett had remade the team; loves what he was doing and compared it to what The Coach did. Talked about how Gil Brandt got him and Lawless and Breunig into his own apartment building in Dallas to keep an eye on them as rookies. Then at the end when the guys on sirius were egging him on about the Smokeless stuff he said he might send a case to Albert to see if that would wake him up- but he also said he would not do it until after the Boys played the Skins again. He is such a great charactor!

Miss guys like that.

Suh might be the best I ever saw in College. Certainly Reggie would be on that list as well. Either way, it's a very short list.

The Manster conducts a lineman school here in Corpus Christi every summer. If I save up some money, I'll get in and observe some day, and give an account. The players do a charity basketball game here every summer as well...

Ok if you don't like the nickname. He didn't mind though. And he's not overrated. You must not have seen him play IMO.

The nickname is not great, but the "overrated" comment is beyond wrong. He's one of the greatest to ever play DT.

clearly someone who never saw him play from about 1975-1983; after that he got old. There was a reason he was called Manster. And that nickname was not argued with as regards the Centers and Guards he mauled over the years.

I think The Manster is a perfect name.

Dont see what you see wrong about it.

It's funny to hear him go on about Smokey Mountain Snuff. They kid around with him and basically get him to describe it as if you are eating a slice of pie. The Manster is my all time favorite Cowboy.

Manster, is kind of a bee bop form of the word man. This emphasizing the manly elements of conduct that were seen in his play. Hence, a very strong term of affection by fans...as to play, I'd take the pair of Manster and Lilly today against any other current pairs at tackle, in a 4-3 of course. Add Harvey Martin and Too Tall at ends and DeMarcus Ware, Chuck Howley, and Norton at linebackers. I would put that up and not even be concerned as to who was behind them...but that also brings some great memories as well.

Manster, a problem? Do you screw up wet dreams as well?
