Cantu has been a defensive nightmare since he arrived. I can't imagine thats what it is. I'm betting it has more to do with experience. Price is a lefty and it's the playoffs. Washington is probably going with the experience here.
Lol it's not b/c of defense or experience, it's because Wash wants to go with the righty-lefty matchup. Cantu has hit much better vs lefties than righties (even if that's not amazing BA but still)

I said experience AND because Price is a lefty. Believe me when I say experience is important, I'm not just blowing smoke.

IMO I think that experience won't play a huge role in how Cantu performs because he's been mostly a bust since getting to Texas. If it were up to me I'd start Moreland every game cause the kid has been on a roll as of late. Cantu is 99% of the time an easy out for the opposing pitcher, Moreland at least poses a good threat of hitting it deep as well as all the other stuff he can do.

On another note, I think that trading Smoak away doesn't hurt us anymore with what we found in Moreland.

I just thought of something. Lee is getting run support! :laugh2: He hasn't always gotten that since joining the Rangers.

I agree. I am no Cantu fan. If you go look back at some of the Rangers threads, I've grilled him up on an official George Foreman Grill more than once! :laugh2:

As for Moreland, I'm very excited about having him. He reminds me of Palmerio.

Yeah I'm very frustrated with Cantu, I was expecting some sort of production outta him when we got him but he's such an easy out. 3 AB's in this game and the guy can't even get a ground/pop out.... 3Ks cmon -.- I want Moreland in now :(

Lee is scary good if he can get some run support. I'm liking what I'm seeing outta this team for Game 1. It's kinda insulting to see all the talking heads saying that the Rangers got almost no chance in this series. We got a good shot, and we just gotta look at this game like this: Our top of the order isn't even clickin' yet.....
