Pretty good company in the 3-2 world right now....can't say I feel too bad about being in the same company as these other teams.....rank the following teams in order of who you feel is best:

I say:
  1. Patriots
  2. Ravens
  3. Jets
  4. Steelers (remember they beat the Lions by only one score this week)
  5. Cowboys
  6. 49ers

That looks about right. I think we would have a hard time beating any of the teams above us on that list.

With 1/4 of the season in the books as of now I would agree. We will see where we are at the halfway point

The 49ers are a pretty good team. Their offense has a few issues, but of Gore isn't injured they are better. Hill is a game managing QB and their defense is pretty good.

Obviously they had a serious breakdown Sunday, but I think they are better than they showed. They just had a bad game, and remember. It's not like the Falcons sucks. I think Flacco is better than Ryan, but Ryan has one hell of a running back to help keep the pressure off of him.

I think you aren't giving enough credit to either the 49ers or the Falcons in this case.

Most people aren't basing these rankings off of 1 week.

If we are not better than the 49ers...we might as well cancel the rest of the season.

Ravens. They have a big game vs. Vikes this week. If the Ravens lose, they will be on a 3 game losing streak. The Bungles beat them 400-260 in total yards.

Steelers. They don't look the same as last year and their OL is a question mark once again. I wouldn't count them out, but I could see them dropping down a notch.

Patriots. Brady won't be the Brady of old until next year. Pats defense looks a little lost with all the new faces. Moss and Welker are still a deadly combo.

Cowboys. Beat the Falcons and they can move up. Penalties and turnovers have been the biggest issue. Could be pretty healthy after the BYE. I have a feeling the game versus the Falcons will determine how this season plays out.

Jets Sanchez looks solid for a rook. The defense looked solid until last night. B. Edwards should help on offense and they have a nice combo at RB.

49ers. The team plays with passion, but they just got destroyed by the Falcons. The schedule should be their friend, having only 4 tough opponents left to play.

You guys are aware that the 49ers had the Vikings beat until that last second pray of a throw by Favre right?

Granted a loss is a loss, but the Vikings with that defense, Favre at QB and Peterson at RB are looking like a pretty damn good team. The 49ers almost beat them, then had a bad game and you act like they are the Raiders/Lions/Commanders/Chiefs.

On top of it all, they are missing one of the top runningbacks in the league in Gore who is injured.

I'd switch the Cowboys and Stuhlers but I agree with the rest.

Lets not get carried away with the negativity.
I'm not happy with 3-2 and the teams not where I thought they'd be for sure.
It's so easy to over critique our own team and easily forget the flaws of others.
This is a 3-2 list. These other teams have also lost twice. Have any of them lost to two undefeted teams? Both those Cowboy losses could have easily gone the other way.

Once again, I'm not happy with the Cowboys so far this season. But the same can be said for the other 5 teams here.

Pats, Ravens and Steelers have looked very ordinary. I thought all 3 were certainly play-off bound coming into the season. Now I could see any of the three home for January.

Now the Jets and 49ers have been a pleasant surprise, but we're not grading on curve.
49ERS JUST LOST BY 35! I'm not fearing them right now. And the Jets just lost to a Dolphins team headed for 6 wins as I see it.

We lose to the Giants and Broncos, two undefeated teams that we gave the games away in the last seconds. Jets get blown out one game, 49ers got blown out last weekend and they are ranked ahead of us, be for real... but it still doesn't matter because if the playoffs started today we would not be in it... So 3-2 right now is a pick in the draft in the mid teens....

Injuries are part of the game. No one makes excuses for us when we have them, so I'm not going to make them for other teams.

The Cowboys are not consistent in their play. That is a sign of a bad team, no matter how talented.
