1. DLAW
2. Jaylon
3. Byron
4. LVE
5. Chido
6. XW
7. Anthony Brown
8. Collins
9. Quinn
10. AWoods
11. Heath

Lee is not 'better than' Brown or Lewis and those are actually starters.
LVE, XW and Chido are poised for moves up.
LVE might the best of the bunch after a full off-season in the system.
But right now those 3 top guys made the most plays last year.

I'd say:

Top 3/ arguably the best in the league at their position: N/A

Top 5 at their position:
-Lawrence
-LVE

Top 10 at their positoin
-Jaylon
-Byron

Very good starter
-Chido
-Brown

Above average starter
-Quinn

Average starter
-Maliek Collins
-Xavier Woods
-Antwaun Woods

Below average starter
-Jeff Heath
-Lee

Liability:
N/A (but to be honest, the only reason Lee isn't a liability is because he will only be playing ~20% of the snaps; he was flat-out bad last year)

6. Sean lee
7. Chidobe awuke
8. Xavier
9. Antuan woods
10. Robert quinn
11. Jeff Heath

Collins isn't even that good. But your list here is actually very telling. Once you get past Byron, all the rest of the guys are pretty much just JAGS. Maybe Awuze is a guy that is better than a JAG. 3 great defensive players, 2 very good players, and the rest of the list is just JAGS. Not the makings of a top defense looking at it like this.

And the weakest link in Heath is about as weak as you could ever get.

No one is a flat-out liability.

Brown is NOT a "very good starter" He is the embodiment of a JAG.

Quinn is still a top 10 pass rusher in the NFL. Putting him at the bottom of our list makes no sense.

I had him 6th, which is mostly due to how highly I think of Tank, Jaylon, LVE, and Byron. I really think Chido is coming on, so I gave him a slight edge over Quinn. I probably should have gone 5a and 5b with them.

A small part of it is that I think Quinn is starting to decline some, and part of it is the 2-game suspension.

Maliek Collins will probably show out in a contract year.

Sean Lee would be higher if not for the health. Big-play wise, he may be #1 on this defense.

Antwaun Woods is a Trojan so I have love for him but he's a JAG. He does his job and he tries hard; was exposed badly on Rams game.

I'm not high on Xavier Woods at all.

I think Jeff Heath might be the worst starting player in the league.
