1) Zeke
2) Murray
3) MBIII
4) Who cares, everyone else was just good in spots here and there.

Zeke over Murray because he was great consistently between 2017-2019, Murray I remember just dominating in 2013 and then really in 2014. But his fumble contributed directly to the loss against GB for which I can't forgive him.

MBIII was always a lot of fun.

Everyone else has all had moments but haven't strung together meaningful time as a starter for me to care to rank them.

Murray had a great single year and unlike Zeke, not only had the incredible line but had defenses never, ever loading the box.
Prime Zeke would've easily had 2000 yards in 2014.
Elliott was better overall than Murray. Come on now. This is recency bias against him.

Murray had a good (not great) 2013 as well, but your point stands. Zeke also never takes off for injury (which was the WRONG move this year) whereas Murray always had some knicks. I think prime Murray was phenomenal, but that was a smaller window. Zeke gets the edge.

I would agree with this. Murray is vastly underrated by most fans. If he had remained in Dallas for the 15 & 16 seasons, there is a very good chance his career is remembered much differently. He was a very good RB. He led the AFC in rushing in 2016 with almost 1300 yards. He could have potentially put together a very impressive 5 year run if not for the debacle in Philly.

For me:
1. Murray
2. Zeke
3. Barber III
4. J. Jones
5. Pollard

Everyone is down on Zeke but he’s been better than Murray. Zeke has had three 1300+ yard seasons. Murray only have one real big season. Murray had a 13 TD season while Zeke had a 15 TD season. Zeke has had 3 double digit TD seasons. He also had a franchise record for RBs with 72 receptions. Go compare his numbers with Murray and it’s clear he’s been the better back but most fans here live in the moment and Zeke is on the decline.

I was very much against letting him go in 2015. The OL was a big piece of the running game but that doesn't mean you don't need a good RB to go with it.

Zeke is more recent than Murray so how can he be a victim of recency bias. lol.
I think you know the answer and are just being....you.

People are down on Zeke right now.....and his 1st 3-4 years seem like a distant past.
Murray's last year with Dallas was record-breaking and folks seem to think that defined his career

Marion Barber never had a 1000 yard season. He was a much better change of pace back than a starter. Julius Jones had two seasons that were more productive than Barber. Julius Jones also had a 200 yard rushing game. He was a really good back early until he ran into a fumbling problem and Parcells jumped all over him. Jones changed his running style to try and protect the ball and went down the drain.

1. Zeke
2. Murray
3. Julius Jones
4. Marion Barber
5. Pollard

Through 6 years, Zeke >> Murray.
And since Murray was basically shot after that, the gap will widen going forward if if Zeke declines.

Not true. Opposing defenses stacked the box a lot in 2014 forcing a lot of man coverage in the secondary. Beasley and Dez in particular benefited by feasting on single coverage that year. Several of the 2014 games are on YouTube - I just skimmed thru some over the past couple of weeks and that stood out to me. The difference between that 2014 season and what we've seen in recent years is that OL was powerful and skilled enough to create lanes vs almost any front and they could overwhelm the opposition in some cases. We also saw some of this in 2016.The strength of those teams was the OL. Those OLs literally had 3 young/prime HOF caliber players at C, RG and LT. And then Leary was a road grader at LG. The losses of Frederick(pre-illness) and Leary in subsequent years have been huge IMO.

I do agree that prime Zeke is more talented than Murray, but let's not sell DeMarco short on what he did in 2014. Yes the OL was top notch, but Murray still ran the air out of the ball.
