Rank your top 16 QBs in the NFL going into 2010

Mine:
1. Tony Romo - This is non homer, but I believe 2010 is the season we win a superbowl, and Romo is league MVP and the crown is passed from Manning to Romo as the leagues undisputable #1 QB.
2. Aaron Rodgers - The Packers are only getting better and so will Rodgers considering he is only 26.
3. Peyton Manning - Its not that Manning will have a bad year, but I predict Romo and Rodgers too have outstanding years, I honestly think both Romo and Rodgers to go over 33 TDs and 4800 yards they both have mulitple targets and a good in the case of Rodgers or great in the case of Romo Tight Ends at their use.
4. Philip Rivers - This is the last year for the Chargers to get it done or they re-enter rebuilding, I got them making it to the AFC Championship but falling short (IIRC 6 of their starters become unrestricted free agents next year).
5. Brett Favre - Honestly I cant wait to stop putting him on these lists.
6. Drew Brees - Everyone seems to be putting the Cool Brees at #1 or #2 on their list's, I think his two year run of being an elite QB ends.
7. Matt Schaub - One of the most underrated QBs in the NFL, he can make the throws needed and has the leagues #1 WR in Andre Johnson.
8. Tom Brady - With Welker not coming back until a few weeks into the season, the slump continues for Brady and the Pats.
9. Ben Roethlisberger- If he plays he is a great QB.
10. Joe Flaaco- This is the year he will solidfy himself as a great QB with a decent Recieving/TE core at his disposal.
11. Carson Palmer - Has another target in Bryant, and while that is not saying much he got it done last year with just OchoCinco as a viable target so adding Bryant helps.
12. Kyle Orton - You think im crazy? Maybe so but he is a system QB and if the Eddie Royal pulls out of his "Sophmore Slump" next year Marshall/Royal is a deadly WR core.

He always has a steller first half of the year, but slumps in the end or gets injured, it pulls him up to a good QB.

Whats so funny about it?
Austin, Witten, Williams, Ogletree, Bennett, Phillips, Crayton have proven they can be good targets, combine that with the heavy passing attack we have, the more than likely younger + improved O-Line, Felix Jones starting at RB and therefor they have to respect the run just a bit more and everyone getting better with a offseason, the Cowboys have the best passing attack in the NFL in 2010 IMO.

1. Peyton Manning. This is non-homer, because I honestly believe that Manning is the best quarterback in football and has been for seven years. Also, I'm a Cowboys fan and don't care about the Colts.
2. Tom Brady. Will bounce back after tough schedule in 2009.
3. Drew Brees. Has only been at Manning's level for two years, let's see if he can stay there.
4. Philip Rivers. Is a punk, but a punk with a great deep ball.
5. Tony Romo. Same numbers as Rodgers against a much tougher '09 schedule.
6. Ben Roethlisberger. Off-field concerns notwithstanding, he's a pretty good QB.
7. Aaron Rodgers. Let's see him do it against some real opposition before we anoint him, shall we?
8. Matt Schaub. Won't throw 4770 again but he could lose 15% of his '09 production and still be top 10.
9. Carson Palmer. Still a top QB iff he can stay healthy.
10. Eli Manning. Two years ago he was carried by a good team, now he's improved and is carrying a bad team.
11. Jay Cutler. Will bounce back after off year, especially if Bears can find some talent to go with him.
12. Brett Favre. Would be much higher if this was 'How would you rank last year's QBs' but I have concerns about his age.
13. Joe Flacco. He's been solid for the Ravens.
14. Matt Ryan. Didn't drop off as much as a sophomore as I expected, may keep rolling.
15. Quincy Carter. Let's face it, by this point on my list no-one is paying attention anymore anyway.
16. Vince Young. Lit it up last year in the half season he played. Let's see if he can keep doing it.
17. Matt Leinart. People underestimate how important the other 10 positions are to QB production.

I'm also a fan of Pennington in Miami, but don't know that he'll start.

Because Drew Brees, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are elite QB's with multiple playoff wins and 5 Super Bowls between them, while Romo has just won his first playoff game. Yes, Romo puts up great stats, but so do Brees/Manning/Brady, but they have rings and have won big games on a consistent basis. I expect Brady to rebound from last year. Usually an ACL injury takes a full year to recover from. Romo is somewhere between 5-8 in my opinion, but to put him as the #1 QB in the NFL isn't realistic in my opinion.

I am actually surprised you did not put all 3 Cowboy QB's as the top 3.
