Ranking the NFC East

sure thing.... Just like it takes that incredibly talented roster in KC.... it isnt just that QB
Before that, it took a deep roster and the "Patriot way.

Washington already had a very solid roster, just like most teams in the NFL, then they struck on the qb.... sound familiar?
The Commanders went from outhouse to penthouse in one off season. They did. I suspect Giants and Eagles fans aren’t enthused about the Commanders coming on strong, either.

The gmen are better than most believe. The skins will fall back a bit this year. And I think someone slipped something into my Kool-aid because I absolutely can't wait to wipe the smirky smiles off the Filthydumpia igglets fans faces when we sweep them and take the division from them. You heard it here first. LOL!

Dallas 13-4
filthy 12-5
NYG 11-6
commandos 9-8
You nailed in on the Kool-aid comment. Did you see the home games? It could be an 0-8 home season... Probably will beat Raiders, Jets and Panthers away, so that's 3 wins right there. After that, with the current roster and coaching staff....

Super Bowl bound!

i'm honestly not sure what you're angling at here, or what your point is. but i don't particularly keep up with the ins and outs of most franchises. just ours, and those that are painfully obvious. don't know what 8-9 has to do with the season washington had, or the drastic overhaul of their program, but cool!
It is pretty simple, at least because I know where I was going with this.

Ever hear a team that was 3-14 talk about the great comradery, or brotherhood they have inside the locker room? Nah, me neither.

But damn, listen to Detroit and hear about all the love they have for each other.
Culture comes from winning, winning does not come from culture.

Did Billy Boy suddenly let the "Culture," go to crap after 535 years of coaching? Or did Tom Terrific move to another team, they started losing, and all of the sudden "The Patriot Way, " started looking a whole lot like the "Browns way?"

My daughter was in a d2 national power program in college. Her Sr year they had absolutely no pitching, and they sucked. It was amazing how in one year they went from loving everyone to a whole lot of whining and complaining. But wait, they had like 20 years of this amazing culture go up in flames in a matter of a few months.

Strange how that works.

Washington didnt do anything different last year. You think they finally got a coach that was disciplined? Finally got a "winner," to run the team? yea right.... or more like they finally landed a QB that could win close games and not lose them. And just like that, they magically are a model franchise for others to emulate.

I don’t have any doubts about the Eagles and predict they will be the first repeat NFC East champs in, what, 20 years? But I do think that it’s going to be a closer than expected 3-way race for 2nd place. I think the Giants will sneak up on some teams, the Cowboys will be more physical/tough and maybe less injury prone. And the team formerly known as the Foreskins have the Dan Quinn factor, meaning that sooner or later Quinn will fail and disappoint. Maybe not this season…we’ll see.

1. Eagles 15-2
2. Commanders 11-6
3. Cowboys 9-8
4. Giants 8-9
Eagles lost 2 of their best DT's and will be playing a first place schedule ... 15-2 seems pretty far fetched.

It all depends on if the Giants o line can do anything to protect Wilson/Winston.
If they can, then Dallas will be in a dog fight with them.

Philly will be 3 games better than Dallas in the win/loss column.
Washington will be 1 to possibly 2 games better.

Man, with your certainty, Id be expecting you to put down 20k on those finishes.

IM getting older, and one thing I know for certain, there is little you can predict in the NFL from year to year.

You can predict any team with Mahomes will be in the hunt. After that, things get sketchy.

Dallas, after opening up and getting smacked by the 49ers in 2014 were said to possibly be the worst team in the league. They went on to finish 12-4.

Not quite 20k.

The Eagles defense is real, especially Fangio having players on the same page. People forget, Dak owns this division during the regular season.

Eagles
Cowboys
Commanders
Giants
The same Dak who already has hamstring issues…in April?

It’s a miracle if he finishes the season next year.

Eagles aren't getting worse anytime soon 13-4
We are average/below average 7-10
Washington will revert to type 6-11
Giants are the Giants 5-12

I don't see 9 Cowboy victories, sorry to say this is going to be another down year and the total of Cowboy victories is probably going to be in the neighborhood of 5 victories at the most! Other than the Giants at home, the Cowboy home schedule looks to be brutal, and away games aren't much better.

Look in the ole crystal ball and tell me...do Mazi, Tolbert, kneeland, Guyton take steps forward or backward and can the 3 rookies play...that right there will be the diference between 3rd and maybe even 1st place...

About the Commanders...I need to see more.

Jayden Daniels is the real deal but they were not as good as their record indicated last year. They barely beat the Giants twice and the Saints. They should have lost to the Bears if they didn't pull off one of the oddest hail mary passes in NFL history. I hate to say they were "lucky" because good teams tend to make their own luck. I am just saying Washington could very easily have been 8-9 last season.

Giants - Ge em now
Eagles - Fall back season for them
Commanders - Vaunted Commanders
Bears - Hate playing at soldier field
Broncos - Haven't beaten the Broncos since 1995
Lions - Can they erase last season's disaster
Raiders - Tough matchup
Jets - Not sure
Panthers - 3 straight wins in Carolina?

Giants
Eagles
Commanders
Packers - Payback? Dak hanse played well against GB since the first half against them in 2017
Chiefs - Guaranteed VICTORY.
Chargers - Beat the snot out of Dallas in 2024 preseason. Can little Marty improve Cowboys physicality
Vikings - Recently dominated the Vikings. The Michigan handoff specialist takes over this year.
Cardinals - Recent history has not been good against the Cards

Tough schedule

Wish we were playing Denver at home. That would give the Cowboys a punchers chance. I don't see Dak winning out there .
Cowboys will beat the Chiefs. No chance in KC but the Cowboys matchup well with them and Dak will be comfortable at home

Playing at Soldier Field is like playing in New Orleans. I hate it and Cowboys usually play awful up there

Eleven of the Eagles’ 17 games are against team that were in the playoffs last season. They are very good. They are not going to win 13 games. The Commanders quarterback could have a lesser year than last season and still be the best quarterback in the division.

It will be close between Washington and Philadelphia. If Barkley stays healthy, Philly wins the division… by a hair. That’s a big “if”. Which one sweeps the Cowboys and Giants wins the division.

you're arguing the opposite of what anyone is saying (and poorly). Just because other factors can and do come into play doesn't mean that "culture" doesn't exist. Sure, maybe Jayden Daniels wouldve won them a bunch of games regardless, I'll give you that, but not only did they not "didn't do anything different" they did EVERYTHING different, top to bottom. If you want to argue that that's meaningless in the grand scheme, knock yourself out, but denying it happened isn't going to work. I don't think that Wash is a model franchise to emulate, and haven't seen much of that said by others either. But they've changed the culture 100% and dividends are dividends so we can attribute it to the factors we like.
