We will have several compensatory picks next year, I will be very disappointed if we don't use one or two picks on at least a QB or RB. Darren and Morris will be gone next year and QB is the most important position so it should be developed.

Now with that said, you can punch me......just remember my profile pic. :)
I live in Louisville and have that picture framed 3x5 as you enter my "man cave"

Love it and I don't want to be Listen so I'll back off.

I agree on the developing players behind him. I like that better than some journeyman vet as backup.

A LB.

And I would have taken a flier on Floyd at WR over Butler.

If I had a nickel for every time someone uses the phrase "progress stopper". LOL.

Fitz is the only one I'd seriously look at here, and I think we should.

Most of these guys... you can stick a fork in them. They're done. Maybe all of them.
Most but not all.

Once it is May 9th, then teams who are not banking comp picks will start looking at these guys.

I would be very pleased if we brought in Clady to replace Bell especially if Collins ends up staying at LG. Beyond that, I think we just roll with our young guys and see what they got.

As bad as that Denver OL is and they still don't want Clady?................I'd pass.

He was highly touted and showed flashes but he's an injury magnet.

None of them... These guys are done and would only impede the progress of our young guys.
The NFL is a "young man's" game and we are building a great team through the draft. Father time
takes his toll on NFL players and all the guys on this list are way over due for Walmart Greeter's jobs.

If you have the room, why does it matter for a one year deal?

I know Romo is our emergency backup but that's putting too much in an unknown. Would a potentially out of shape Romo 3 years away from meaningful football be better than Fitzpatrick with a training camp under his belt? I'm not sure.

Still, there is no guarantee Romo would even want to leave if he starts to love his CBS gig.

I do agree that Romo is an unknown and his conditioning could be an issue. However I do know this, that one drive he had with Dallas during the last game of the season was light years better than anything we saw last year from Ryan before and after he lost his job to Geno Smith with the Jets last year.

Honestly rather have a development player (even Moore) on the squad that Ryan Fitzpatrick at this point. Based on Ryan's play last year they would probably give you about the same results.

I think the Jets did him dirty last season. He was the starting QB and they didn't even sign him until essentially August. In retrospect, they were smart not signing him long term but if the Jets allowed their starting QB and leader of the team to be part of their offseason program, maybe it would have turned out differently.

He was very good the year before and adding another Ivy League guy with NFL experience in Dak's ear is not a bad thing.
