We all know you can lose any game or win a ny game in the NFL.
We also know that the look of a schedule difficulty pre-season often changes a lot once the games begin.

With that in mind and really just entertaining myself with useless trivia, I thought I'd give a stab at ranking the degree of difficulty for each game on Dallas' 16 game schedule based on what we know today.

So the ranking would be how good the teams were that Dallas already faced at the time they faced them and how good the teams are going forward.

Knowing almost all of these could be moved up or down several slots, here's my stab at it:

  1. at Minnesota (Dec 1)
  2. at Philadelphia (Jan 1)
  3. at Pittsburgh (Nov 13, IF Ben plays)
  4. at Washington (W)
  5. Philadelphia (W)
  6. at New York (Dec 11)
  7. Washington (Nov 24)
  8. New York (L)
  9. at Green Bay (W)
  10. Cincinnati (W)
  11. Baltimore (Nov 20)
  12. Detroit (Dec 26)
  13. Tampa Bay (Dec 18)
  14. at San Francisco (W)
  15. at Cleveland (Nov 6)
  16. at Chicago (W)
How do you rank them?

The Jan 1 game at Philly maybe should be #1.
In any case, Dallas has already won some pretty good ones....with those two division wins being the biggest.

I have a little more respect for the Lions.
Stafford has played very well this year.

That Philadelphia game may turn out to be meaningless if we keep this pace up.to me the most important game is the one against the giants. They completely stifled our run game.we wont have Mo now so they are clearly favorites in that game.If we beat them then we have the division.

Yeah. They could maybe go up to 9th or 10th? Not sure if them at home would be ahead of Green Bay on the road.

Cleveland is the biggest game, because it's the next game. LOL
One of my coaching buddies would always say, " we don't want to win every game, we just want to win the next game".

Minnesota game is way too high. I simply do not fear a team that cannot score.
I agree. They're offensive line is toast. Probably somewhere between 5th and 8th? It is at their place.

Maybe...

  1. at Philadelphia (Jan 1)
  2. at Pittsburgh (Nov 13, IF Ben plays)
  3. at Washington (W)
  4. Philadelphia (W)
  5. at New York (Dec 11)
  6. Washington (Nov 24)
  7. New York (L)
  8. at Minnesota
  9. at Green Bay (W)
  10. Detroit (Dec 26)
  11. Cincinnati (W)
  12. Baltimore (Nov 20)
  13. Tampa Bay (Dec 18)
  14. at San Francisco (W)
  15. at Cleveland (Nov 6)
  16. at Chicago (W)

I still think that is too high. I don't mean to disrespect Mike Zimmer, but when you cannot score...you don't scare me. When playing teams like this....you run the football..protect the football...get a 2 score lead....and eventually that will force them out of their gameplan. Once that happens...you pin your ears back...and the route is on.

It might not be one of our easiest games this season...but I think the point differential would suggest that it is. I think we beat them by 2 TDs.

NFC east games will rank near the top of all the remaining games. Cowboys can take nothing for granted in division play this year.
Lions will have the best offense and the Vikes the best Defense for the rest of the schedule. Pitt with or without Ben is not the same teams as years past.

After watching the Vikes last night, I might fear the Browns offense more. Vikes looked horrible last night. Big trouble on that OL.

Lol wut? They would not be favorites.

Also, they slowed our run game in Zeke first NFL game. I don't know if you have been paying attention, but he seems to have the hang of it now.

Yeah, the Vikings now are not the Viking a month ago.

I know this is not the answer your probably looking for, But I see them getting 5 - 6 more wins out of this list
W - Cleveland
W - Detroit
W - Baltimore
W - Tampa
W - NewYork
1 Possibly more in the Washington,Philly, Pit and Mini Games

6 -1 now 4 more winds gives us 10 Wins. 5 more Wins gives us 11 wins. 6 Wins gives us 12 either, any way you look at it, we are in playoffs unless we tank rest of the year.

If they only end up with 10 wins after starting 6-1, they'll be really disappointed.
There are 3 tough division games left though, no doubt.
And all three so far have gone down to the wire...so flip a coin on those games.

12 wins would be 6-3 the rest of the way--which is very doable.
