Mostly a very good list from my perspective. I would change the order in some cases, but mostly you have the players I would have listed.

Aside from order, here are some things I would change (I'm sure there are a couple of others I'm not thinking of).

1. WR - TO played well in Dallas, but I would go with Tony Hill partly based on being a career Cowboy and TO was a short timer.
2. C - Dave Manders over Ray Donaldson - same reason as #1.
3. DE - George Andrie easily over D-Law. D-Law has tons of potential, but it hasn't consistently shown. I would name a few others before him as well.
4. DT - I would go with Jethro Pugh or John Dutton over Leon Lett.
5. MLB - Howley wasn't a ML. Either Dat Nguyen, Bradie James or Eugene Lockhart should fill that hole.
6. OLB - Godfrey and Darrin Smith had marginal and short careers in Dallas I would put Howley and DD Lewis in.
7. S - It's close, but I would go with Michael Downs over Brock Marion

.

I was speaking about Lawrence.

And I disagree about Garrett. You want to see clueless go look at Switzer, Gailey and Campo. Wade is debatable though. I think he was clueless too but he was better coaching that defense than Garrett has been on offense.

Jeffcoat and Tolbert were both better. I would also rather have Greg Ellis and it’s not even close. Tank has been a great player for 1 year in his career.

Well its tough to compare guys who retired to players who are still in the league. So I agree there.

LOL...…...Zeke Elliott over Walker!!!!! ahahahahaaha!!!!!!

What has Zeke done? Won two most carries titles? Pathetic. Herschel blew away Zeke as a RB.

Heck...……...Murray put Zeke to shame with his one huge season.

Garrett is the worst HC this team has ever had. And honestly it isn't even close.

Campo would coach circles around Garrett as would Gailey and anyone else.

My God...……………………...Switzer was a coaching legend in college, created the wishbone and then won in the pros.

Garrett is a nothing nobody that got handed 10 years of Cowboys coaching and blew it.

i still ranked Jeffcoat because he surprisingly ranks among the top all time sackers in the NFL - and that
includes Haley. i thought Ellis was a solid but not elite player. but maybe that he never return to previous form after that horrific broken leg he suffered
didnt we switched to a 3-4 scheme that made it uncomfortable for Ellis here also ?

right garett was average dint get a lot done with he talent he had but his w-l % was very good add in pretty good run of Division titles and some playoff wins..that puts him on the list for sure..not high Tank has not earned to eb n this list yet..

Good list. A few great players that should have been included or moved up-
  • Safety Cornell Green was a 3 time ALL PRO in late 60s and early 70s- he has to be on S list.
  • Chuck Howley never played MLB. He was an OLB. Deserves to be #1 on OLB list because I would put DWare as a DE.
  • Drew Pearson and Tony Hill should be higher on this WR list. They both had more yardage than Dez and much bigger plays in playoff games than TO.
  • OLB D.D. Lewis played in 4 SBs and started for the great Doomsday Ds of the 70s for nearly a decade. He should be on that list.
  • Jay Ratliff IMO not worthy of this list. Jethro Pugh was a great DT for a decade and has a SB ring.
  • Tom Rafferty at C should be second or third on this list. Has a ring and started in 3 SBs and 5 NFC championship games.
